If you're just doing a quickie job and tossing them, they'll do the trick on the cheap. The blade edges here deflect too much and also prone to scratching. I've had to pick out several shreds of plastic from the mud. If you're looking to do anything more than a quick patch or two, I recommend metal blades.

Used them so smear roof cement around some leaky skylights. Threw them away afterwards. Will purchase again if the need for disposable knives come up.

The Allway putty knife worked well. Its light weight yet durable. I like the fact that its easy to clean.

This was purchased as a gift and recipient was happy with it.

These (all 3) putty knives work really nice. When I ordered these I did not think I would need all 3 but found that having all 3 of these have been very helpful. These work great for those of us who only have small jobs to do around the house.

Cheap and duable

The putty knife set is exactly what I needed and it looks like they will last a long time.

Purchased these to help with a toilet install, specifically to help clean the wax off the floor and the toilet itself. They're plastic so probably not as durable for a more strenuous project, but for my use they were great. And no worries tossing them in the recycling bin after using them on a less-than-clean location in the house either.

Did what they were supposed to do with joint compound.

Nice set of putty knives. Have some odd spackling jobs around the house so these the trick real nice. Nice assortment of sizes too and it's reasonably priced.

If you plan to apply drywall compound, do yourself a favor and buy metal putty knives. These are okay, but you can't get a nicely feathered edge with them. They're fine for patching small holes now and then, but not for applying taping compound to larger areas.

First time using spackle before painting. I learned that you have to use different size putty knives for diferrent size holes.....

A great putty knife set. I used them for tiling and some painting projects. Sturdy enough to use, clean, and use again.

Set did not come with putty,had to supply my own putty. Description says to dispose of when done but I totally kept mine.
