Easy install depending on the electrical box. I had to use longer anchor screws, but again had nothing to do with the fixture. I am the daughter of an electrician and he left this for me to install and I had an easy enough time.

A clean craftsman inspired look
Bought three of these to update the porch of our old quasi-craftsman home. Very pleased with the final look. Installation was very sensitive to the junction box being installed flush and flat to the ceiling and required a lot of fiddling. Even then, getting the two supporting bolts aligned and through the fixture was tedious. The bolts also held on by a very small 'bead' nut that seems inadequate given the weight of the glass. This is earthquake country so I plan to add additional screws into the underlying wood when I get the chance.

This is a beautiful light. Fairly easy install and it works great.
Looks great as it matches the bathroom lights in my vanity. It does have a lot of pieces to it so it will a bit of work to change the light bulb.

North park 1 bulb fixture
Just exactly as pictured. The brushed nickel finish adds a bit of simple elegance. Great fixture, good quality, easy to install.

What a lot of work to install!
Well, to begin with, not all the parts needed to install this light were in the package, and there were parts in the package that weren't used nor shown in the 'directions'. The 'directions' are just a thin-line small drawing of most (not all!) of the various parts in the order they are to be installed, and there is no key for which part is which. So, you need to have the missing parts left over from some other project or go out and buy them, and you need to be able to think 'outside the directions' to install it. It takes a lot of trial-and-error to get the ceiling plate attached properly to the electrical box so that the frame is close enough to the ceiling. Each time you adjust the bolts on the ceiling plate, you have to blindly match the bolts and the holes in the frame, which was a real time consumer! Once I got it together, I cannot get the glass dome to align properly with the light frame. I also should add that when I have to replace the bulb, there are several steps to remove and re-install the dome, and big opportunities for 'oops' for the dome to fall from the light and crash to the floor. I was going to buy another one for my entryway, but after working with this one, I wouldn't buy another one.

Light fixture for low ceiling
This light is perfect for our low ceiling. Not your standard dome light, much nicer!

Expensive compared to other lights that you get in store
It is pretty much same type of light that you get in the Home Deport store for half of the price. The only reason I am keeping is because it is square shape otherwise I would have returned it and bought one from store that you get for $30-$40. It is same quality.

Well made and great looking
We are remodeling a 35 year old house. I am using these lights in the hallways. They are very well made, the glass is thick, and they are easy to install. I have bought a total of 6 of these fixtures and may buy more.

great looking light fixture
This light fixture with the brushed nickel finish matches the rest of the appliances in our remodeled kitchen. My wife picked it out and loves it. The reason I gave a "fair" ease of install was because there are no instructions, just an exploded schematic of the fixture. I had no problem figuring out how it went together, but for other do-it-yourself customers it may be more difficult. An actual set of assembly instructions would be a nice addition to an otherwise good looking light fixture.

Clean looking modern classic
I used this light in my kitchen to fit into a recessed square area of the ceiling in my 1920s house. It looks nice and complements the soft tones of the kitchen cabinets adding a fresh look that's neither too modern or too old-fashioned. The amount of light is very good, so that I probably didn't need to install another large ceiling light in the area. There is another similar light which is not quite flush with the ceiling which would have been another good option.

Great light fixture, terrible installation instructions
The instructions that come with the light fixture for installation are terrible. They just show a picture of the fixture and associated parts (without much detail) and give you an order in which to put the pictured parts together. I had to guess what some of the parts in the picture were because it was hard to distinguish between parts I actually had and what was shown.
