The fixture is versatile because it can be hung either shades upward or downward. I purposely picked this lamp because of the large back plate it has. The wall is damaged and I wanted something that could hide it, without having to re-texture the whole wall. Was very easy to install. It was out of the box and hung in 15 min.

Love it, perfect in my new remodeled bathroom, modern design!

It was a bit difficult to tell on the picture of this product on the website, but the lamps are actually held on a curved bar in front of the back plate. I was expecting the lights to be directly attached to the back plate in a row, but I actually think I like the curved bar better as it adds some interest to the fixture. I also purchased this light because it has a full back plate that hides some of the holes in my wall from the previous light fixture. So not only is it a good looking fixture that provides a good amount of light for my bathroom, it makes my wall look much neater than it actually is. Overall I am pleased with this fxiture, especially given some of the less than stellar bathroom vanity fixtures that are out there.
