Good Saw for the Money!
Not needing a saw for everyday use, this one is perfect. For the several complaints about the laser power, really? I don't use it, don't need it, have always lined up with blade to mark and sawed away. Well built for the price. Wish I had bought years ago.

Good saw, but not without drawbacks
OK. To start off with, I am a construction professional by trade and therefore not just a homeowner or DIY'er. It supports my family and I and is not just a hobby. The build quality is pretty good and the adjustments are OK but the support bars on the side are pretty cheap. We also replaced the laser on this saw with a Laser Kerf kit since it works much better and is lasting much longer than the laser that came with this saw. The power is average, not underpowered or super-powerful, just enough to run the 5000 RPM blade speed (5000 RPM is AFTER the motor's speed has been reduced through the gearbox). Unlike some other reviewers, my saw was able to make a complete cut. We use this saw exclusively for fiber cement, wood, and vinyl siding, and it has held up over the past few months. Overall, this is a great saw for a homeowner or DIY'er and decent for semi-professional use, with some compromises thrown in there for the cheap price. It will make rough cuts or medium-accuracy cuts, but not super-accurate cuts for furniture building. I find that our 12" DeWalt dual-bevel "chop" saws are more accurate and thus more useful for finish work like cutting crown moulding. Hope this review helps.

Ok Saw
I was a little disappointed that this saw doesn't make a complete cut. I always had 1/2 inch that didn't get cut. I tried to adjust it but couldn't get a complete cut all the way through. That was pretty annoying due to having to finishing cutting by hand which left my crown molding jagged at the ends. Other than that the saw is good.

Good value
The cutting and movement are fine but the adjustments and support bars etc. are pretty cheap. The laser light didn't even last one day on the batteries and it wasn't even on that much. Overall it's easy to use and serves my needs for larger lumber cuts.

Good value for the money
Laser guide is useless outside in bright sunlight , work OK in dimmer light. Blade was not perfectly square with table. Good overall value for the money. Not the tool for precision cabinetry work, but fine for average do it yourselfer.

Great so far
Used it today for the first time. this cut through 4x4s like it was butter. The Lazer was very helpful. Its not 100% spot on accurate (maybe 99%) but it really speeds up your cut. I do weekend table building projects and this is perfect. I couldn't be happier with the product and it's a good price. Would recommend.

    Good Machine
Very good machine, plenty of power. Have had no issues with the angle and lock up. I am not easily impressed but this one runs with the high dollar ones.

    Not Accurate
Doesn't lock at the indents therefore causing inaccurate angles (including 90 degree). This is not good for precision cabinet building.

    good value
while I like the saw, the laser feature is poorly implemented. Why use a battery powered laser that you have to turn on/off at a switch? All other saws I know have the laser come on when you start on the saw. Also, laser is in a place where it gets covered in sawdust. If wood is damp (like treated wood often is) the laser gets blocked quickly. Spend a lot of time cleaning the lens.

Couldn't get the blade to square.
Bought this because the price was so low. I guess you get what you pay for here, because I couldn't get the blade to square. I ended up retuning it and paying nearly double for a Hitachi that is fantastic. Save yourself the trouble and invest in a good quality tool, not this.

    Great saw !!!!!!!
I bought this on a whim. Sale price was very affordable. If you do angle cuts this is a must. Now I'm eager to do more projects. Makes doing a project easier and quicker. I even made a table for this saw to sit on.

It looks like a good quality machine
I have not used this machine yet, but from what I can see it is very compatible with brand names that are twice the price or more than this one. I use woodworking tools every day in my business and would buy more of this type tool without question.
