Was hesitant to buy this since I already had a utility knife. However it was well worth it due to the position of the handle and sharpness of the blade. The blade is strong and sliced through the carpet with ease cutting down the time significantly to complete the removal of carpet in 4 rooms.

I have had this knife about a year. I don't do much carpet anymore but bought this when I forgot mine. The push button blade changing is convenient but it also causes the knife to open during use. This normally is not an issue, just an annoyance. At one point one of my blades came dislodged from the holder inside the handle. Today I discovered this when it opened during use causing the blade to come out of the back of the knife. Fortunately I got off easy with only a 4 stitch slice in one finger. Stick with the carpet knives with the thumb screws. Not recommended.

Super sharp, good ergonomics, easy blade change.

It is much sharper than a regular utility knife but it is very difficult to switch blades

It was easy to cut a thick ush carpet and rubber pad with this knife. also, it was curved in such a way to be very, very safe.

Your checkout experience no good. Only 2 self-service machines open and problems with both purchases at them. This while 2 other machines in active. No manned checkout open resulted in line being very long.

This is a horrible product. I was unable to load the blade. In trying to do so I almost sliced my thumb/fingers several times. I will be returning this item and I suggest you stop carrying it before you are involved in multiple lawsuits.

So sharp! Cut through carpet like butter

When I finally opened it and found the blades, they were difficult to get out and load. I’m lucky I didn’t cut myself. Terrible design. Will return.

The carpet cutter was really sharp, and did the job expected.

This knife slices through carpets from the back easily, neatly, and quickly.....way better than using a regular utility knife. The blades do not blunt off as quickly as expected. I have a lot of wall-to-wall to demolish and actually invested in a 2nd knife because spare blades were not readily available. The knife also worked slicing through the pile side of carpet that had been glued to a concrete floor but needed a couple of extra passes, and blunted a bit quicker. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again and intend to keep one on hand in my toolbox.

Will return and buy another brand, without a doubt this is the worst design I have ever seen in my life. The button does not work, can not load a blade....never ever buy a Robert's tool again....

This was extremely sharp, and blade exposed. Finger deeply cut. Threw knife away!

I needed to cut old carpet to put it on the curb for trash pickup. This carpet knife was the perfect tool. MUCH better than the box cutter I was trying before.

Cuts well. fits hand nicely. I can't say more than that. I've only used it once.

Very solid piece of equipment. Easy to use, much quieter than a pneumatic stapler, a great tool.

The Roberts Carpet Knife comes with extra double sided blades in the handle. The knife is super sharp and fits the hand well. The downfall come when your finger overshoots the finger grip and lands on the top of the blade-no cover! Ouch!

This product has worked out excellent for me, I needed to be able to cut thru thicker carpet, this product made the job much more easier.

easy to use and reload with double sided blades. very heavy duty i use it everyday for 6-7 hours!
