Having moved to CA from the South it makes everyone in my neighborhood salivate with jealousy when I fire this bad boy up! Using a real charcoal grill is the only way to cool and I purchased a new ChrGriller every 2 to 3 years since I moved here in 2014. After the seasoning of the grates is done correctly this grill can handle a party of 20 without breaking a sweat. I love the build and the durability of this grill and will continue to wow guests and neighbors alike every season with this instrument of flavor! Where I come from BBQ is a VERB not a NOUN :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this grill over 30 years ago and still works just fine. I had to replace the charcoal grate once because it burn. It is a bit rusty ourside and has a tick layer of sooth inside, but this adds a flavor and has its own charm, in my opinion. I am hopping that they will came with easier way to remove the ashes, though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son gave me the Char Griller Delexe Charcoal Grille for my birthday 8 years ago. It is still in remarkably good condition. I use it frequently. The lift out ash tray makes it easy to dispose of ashes. The cast iron grates cook so well because of the even heat. This is by far the best grille I have ever used.

I bought this grill about 5 Yrs ago it’s bn a threat grill but now I need replacement parts and can’t order what I need to keep using my grill can’t call anyone for service or get parts

This grill is fantastic. I have used it for long slow burns (smoked ribs) and for quick burgers and steaks (and salmon and chicken). I read some reviews about the paint peeling and such, I followed all instructions on preparing the grill prior to first use (oil it up, keep it at 250 for several hours etc...and no issues. I did add gasket tape to the lid (where it hits the base) to prevent heat loss, but I did that before first use just incase.

Very cheap and thin materials. Drilled holes aren't straight, and are all slightly misaligned. Had to redrill holes for wheel axle. Paint started flaking off around the air intake after second use. Now that I've had it for a few weeks I see signs of rust on it. It does a great job grilling, and has a huge surface area, though the coals don't last as long as I've experienced in other grills. Overall I am disappointed with the quality of this product and do not recommend it.

I bought this grill for my husband on his birthday. It is better than I expected, very nice, big, good quality. He received many compliments. The purchase was easy, fast and arrived on time and in good condition. The only drawback is that it is missing a piece (Damper Circle) and I had to request it separately on the char griller page.

Great value, a lot of cooking area, plus the ability to raise and lower the coals gives you a lot more cooking control. I only use charcoal with an electric starter, and this grill ignites fast, so the the coals ash over much faster than my old grill. Only negatives: the wood shelf is just bolted onto the side, so it's too flimsy to use to pull or drag the grill. Also the drip can holder is pretty unusable. Home Depot wasn't the cheapest, but they were easy to work with and they assembled it for me.

Purchased June 2018. I love this grill. Even though the (very heavy) box it was delivered in was falling apart with gaping holes, I began to unload it in hopes that all parts were present. And they were! Assembly was fairly simple and quick, maybe 2 hours. I'm an amateur at assembly, so your results might well be quicker and easier. I would like to note that the first diagram in Step 1 instruction is inaccurate for the parts in the box. Still you can figure it out. That said, the remaining instructions were easy to read an follow thanks to the diagrams. I like the cast iron grates, temp sensor and air flow regulators. Also the size is large enough for a party of 12 or so. Very satisfied.

It was my mom's Mother's Day Gift. She absolutely loves it. Food tastes great.

I bought this grill a few months ago but wanted to wait until we used it to do a review. My husband says this is the perfect grill and that I couldn't have made a better choice. He loves the temp gauge and how easy it is to clean. Cooks meat to perfection. Definitely a 5 star product in our book.

Easy to assemble but two can do it in half the time. It was the holiday weekend and both of us had just gotten our nails done. Fully assembled in less than 1 hour and without chipping a nail. We also bought the small smoker that attaches to the side of this grill - which can also be used as a table top mini grill, and we bought the custom weatherproof cover. The ribs and chicken were smoked to succulent perfection. Sturdy, Quality appliance at a fraction of the cost $$$.

This grill was easy to set up. Found the grill at another retailer for a lower price and Home Depot verified it and matched the $ and issued a credit to my credit card immediately-great service. Grill shipped with no issues...even the cardboard was all in tact. Very happy with grill. Will probably add the smoker box on the side. Grill is very heavy duty and was a great find/value.

After this product arrived, it only took me an hour or so to assemble it, and I did it by myself. It has worked great so far and I am pleased with it. Highly recommend this model !!

I have used this grill 4 times so far and it has been good. I like the double bottom where the inside one can be lower or upper to control the grill temperature. Also grill is large and I have grilled to feed 14 people and it could easily do more. My main complain is on packaging. Everything comes in one box so it is very heavy for one person to lift. Also parts are not well packed inside the main drum. The box came with one corner pushed in. After assembling I notice that one of the part has dented the drum from inside. That chipped paint on the outside as well.

The parts are made from good quality materials and the instructions are easy to follow. The wood handles and rack seem a little too soft and wimpy to stand the test of time though. Be sure and coat the inside and out with vegetable spray per the instructions to season it properly.

Fed Express lost the fist shipment. You entered a new order on 3/17 and i am still waiting on it. As soon as i get it, i will be glad to review.

Excellent price from the website and fast delivery. Second grill I've bought from your company and couldn't be more satisfied.

This is my third Deluxe Griller in fifteen years. I use it two to three times a week. Steak, briskets, pork butts, ribs, chicken, kebabs, shrimp, fish, veggies, gumbo, stew, chili, breakfast, stir fry, hot dogs, hamburgers, sausage, et cetera! I love it! Yes, as they age, they need a little TLC, but well worth it!
