Pricey but way nicer than the $20 similar item. I may pay the extra price to replace the one in the front of my house. The other version HD offers is hard to turn. Been on my house for a year.

I chose this particular sillcock over the others because THD sells a rebuild kit for it. Obviously, time will tell how reliable it is. I really like the large handle and the 1/2-turn feature. What else can one say about an outdoor spigot? Turns on and off. Doesn't leak. So far so good!

i soldered this in to my 1/2" copper line and afterwards it leaked, wouldnt shut off completely. ...
i soldered this in to my 1/2" copper line and afterwards it leaked, wouldnt shut off completely. Come to find out, the rubber seal is all the way at the end of the pipe near the threads. Soldering melted the seal, so if you are soldering this in, disassemble the entire piece beforehand, then reassemble once finished. Even after fixing my seal, when i close the valve im never entirely sure when it is completely shut off as there is some play when all the way shut.

My old one was threaded on both the outside and...
My old one was threaded on both the outside and inside on the end, I had to make some modifications to hook it up. Other than that it seems to work ok. Be sure to match the length and if possible the hole spacing in the flange.

Works fine but the 1st faucet measured 8” and this one was 9 1/4” I had to add a 5/4 blocking outside to make it work. Of course The one I relaced was another brand

Sorry to hear about the length difference in your hydrants, but we are glad that it is working fine. The hydrant length is measured from the back of the flange to the end of the copper, and the connection inlet is not included because there are several kinds of inlets available on that model and are all different lengths. Nice if installed correctly
This works nicely during the winter in New England assuming you install it correctly. You must get the tube perfectly level or slightly sloped to the outside. Otherwise it will freeze up since water does not flow uphill. As for the quality, it is made nicely.

Not happy with this product
The faucet was almost an inch longer than specified and the buyer pickup label was wrapped around and glued to the faucet tubing that goes into the wall.rather than the faucet assembly being put into a box or bag. Removing the label fron the faucet tubing was time consuming and difficult..

OUTSTANDING!!! MADE IN USA!!!
Tired of replacing cheap foreign made frost proof sillcocks.
This outstanding made in the USA sillcock should last a lifetime. It carries a 3 year warranty as well.
