My Salad Shooter is about 25 years old and it is still one of the most useful appliances in my kitchen! The latest use is shredding Brussels sprouts! I'm glad to know the SS is still available!!

I just love this Salad Shooter, easy to use, very efficient with shredding cabbage for coleslaw, makes the perfect shred of potatoes for hash browns, and is great for all slicing (for salads or vegetable trays) dicing, chopping, etc, and works very quickly. Easy to clean and store. Love it. Who needs a food processor I don't this is better than a food processor, I recommend this item.

This is the second one that I have owned. Great time saver. Would not be without one!

We've owned a Presto salad shooter for 15 years and it finally gave out. Purchased a new one (style is a little different) and it works great. Not much to improve on with such a great product. We mostly use it for grating cheese and don't know why anyone would grate by hand.

I have gone through 3 salad shooters in the past years. I love using one for grating cheese, cabbage for cold slaw or what ever I decide to make that needs grating or slicing. I use it on frozen butter when i need some thin slices or meats that I want some small thin slices to use. It is one of the handiest tools for the kitchen and will purchase another one when I wear out this one. And Home Depot had the best buy for one when I was looking for another one to purchase.

I love how easy it is to use and clean up. My fav is when I grate cheese......FAST and I dont have to worry about cutting myself on a hand grater!

We got this for my mother in law for Christmas. She loves kitchen gadgets and is always making good salads for family dinners. She says it works great and makes salad preparation a little easier.
