Got the Clopay garage doors to replace my 25 year old doors, the new doors very nice really added nice curb appeal and my garage is a lot more insulated my wife and really notice the temperature difference.

I contracted Home Depot in Burlington Ontario and their supplier of Garage Doors Clopay to install my Garage doors. Their Installer was Nuno. The install was poorly done and took them 12 hours to install 2 garage doors. Nuno subcontracted a couple of amateur installers to do the work. Nuno pretty much supervised and acquired the parts for them as the job went along. The weatherstripping ends did not not match up good and light shines through the edges of the weatherstripping when doors are closed. Clopay says that is acceptable and will not redo it. 2 panels of one garage door does not mate up properly and I insist to have the panels redone with a different installer but Clopay refuses to send a new installer. They want to send Nuno back but I don’t want that.

Heavy duty and high quality thats the best way to describe these doors.

We bought four if them (10'×10') in charcoal gray and they turned out to be fantastic for our garage.

We just replaced old door for 22years with same look alike door because old door was cracking around the outside windows and we just got new vinyl siding 2 years ago so now the house is updated. The installer did a great job and he came at 9am left at 1pm and cleaned up all the mess, I would recommend the company to anybody that needs a new garage door, Thank You Very Much.

Great product. Garage is much warmer now that the insulated door has been installed. Removal of old door and installing of new door was easy for the crew that came to install the door. Thanks to the install team.

Ordered this door around Christmas and it was installed on April 1st. That wait is the only negative thing I have to say about this. We have glass panels at the top and the chocolate brown color. It looks fantastic! The inside is nicely finished and white which helps with the light in the garage. Just love it.

These doors are amazing and beautiful! We got garage door openers with them and they work like a charm, so quiet and smooth!

Love the door. Very well made and easy to install. I did it without instructions. I am the above average person for assembly though. It's a clean looking door inside and out. If you have magnets for car, great place to but them. The ez wind springs made piece work of that part of the install. Never had them before, will have to see how they hold up. They are not that expensive to replace if need be. (Future)

Overall, I'm happy with the look and performance of the garage door. However, there are two things that caused me to give this less than a perfect review. First, the installation went smoothly with the local contractor. They were professional, prompt, and efficient. Unfortunately, a few days after the work was completed, I noticed that the corners of the bottom gasket were not sealing the enclosure properly. They were rubbing up against the side seals, resulting in some gaps at the bottom corners when the garage door was closed. This resulted in snow blowing into the garage. I emailed the vendor to fix the problem but never heard back from them. I'll have to do this myself when the weather warms up. Second, the garage door intermittently will not close all the way, will fail to initiate closing, or will stop and then go into reverse. I've tried changing the light bulbs to reduce interference, removing the light bulbs completely, resetting the codes, manually adjusting the closing settings on the motor housing, etc. I've also consulted the website for a solution without success. For these reasons I give my Clopay garage door experience a less than perfect review.

I made the right choice with this door. Transformed the house.

I ordered the door during the heat of pandemic so I waited a lot longer than expected. The door is great and my house looks better. I'm glad that I chose the upgraded door opener and learned more about R values as well. The installer was so nice and informative. I had a lot of questions about the door and maintenance.

Classic looks fantastic!!! Added the arched windows with grids to top panel and really added nice complement to the curb appeal of our home.

The doors look GREAT!! the installer did a fabulous job! I'm a little disappointed that the extra insulation I got doesn't keep the heat out as much as I'd hoped but everything else about the doors is perfect!

Good looking, well built doors. (I bought two 9' doors). They open and close quietly. Installation was time consuming (as expected) but not difficult for one person to complete. I am a very happy customer.

I ordered two single size doors in white with the sunrise shaped window in the top section. Totally transformed the look of the garage. Installed them myself all in one day.

Works great blocked out all the cold air. Even with covid19 delivery was not too bad

We are very happy with the new Classic Steel Garage Door

We recently ordered one of these plus a side mount motor, installation and the “Madison” window treatment. It’s from Clopay, - one of the higher-end doors in my view. This is our second order from this manufacturer. It is very nice looking door and well-built from what I can see. Be aware if you order a Clopay from Home Depot, there’s a significant lag between your order and the day it’s installed. To be expected during his Covid pandemic, I guess. The good news is that it was easy to order through the local Home Depot. We've been using the door for about a month now. There is nothing NOT to like about this garage door. We first ordered Clopays (2 of them for a 4-car garage) 10 years ago and there was never an issue. I rated the experience a “4” as there’s two issues that came up. Would have rated a 4.5, but there's no half point gradients in this review format. The door itself is very good looking. Looks substantial! When ordering, there's several levels of insulation to choose from - a plus! If it works for you, order the side mount motor. It mounts on one side of the door, up near the top corner. I imagine it could be installed on either side. It's so quiet that one can barely hear it run. What is different with this package than from previous garage doors is that the light that turns on when the “open” button is pressed is not installed by the installer. They just hand it to you. That’s not a problem for me, I ‘kinda liked the idea of being able to place it myself. It has a sensor that turns the light on the minute I step into the garage. I don’t have to push any buttons to activate the light. That’s nice when my hands are full. And it’s a good light. Plenty bright, - LED. I’d say a 150 watt equivalent. What’s not to like about that. Still, seems like the installer ought to install the light as part of a premium package? There was damage to the panels either during shipping or installation. Not sure which is the case, but the installer pointed it out and had it handled right away. The installer techs who did our installation and repair were knowledgeable and personable. The window upgrade seems to leak light out of each of the corners (see photo). I’m not sure if these window pane inserts are sized wrong and are cut a bit too small – they are pretty loose and flimsy. Without this issue, I have no problem rating the purchase and experience a “5.”

We really like our new Clopay garage doors. They look great and are a big improvement over our 35 year old garage doors.
