As others have mentioned, this product ruined our new white oak hardwood floors (water based finish). We put the pads down after ~2 weeks post installation. It left a honey comb grid and 2 dark lines where pad was weight bearing. It was a $3,000 lesson.

These waffle-like rug pads are made of some sort of rubber-like product which can permanently stain certain kinds of floors with little checkerboard marks. Our new slate floor, even though we sealed it, was stained permanently by one of these gripper pads under a rug. We've tried every cleaner imaginable, and though mineral spirits worked okay, we will probably have to use barkeepers friend and then re-seal the floor. I guess we're lucky the stain will at least be under the rug. Avoid these if you have a stone floor.

The color/quality is very good. And, a rug next to the bed really beats a cold hardwood floor - especially on a cold winter morning in Wisconsin.

Easy to install, worked great for keeping the rug in place. However, in only 6-months time on a hard floor the entire gripper pad has decomposed and is now sticking to the floor in thousands of foam dots. The dots do not come up easily with warm water and a scrubber sponge. This is going to take hours to remove. Either the labeling is not clear what types of flooring and conditions are okay for use or it's a defective design, either way it's definitely not worth the risk. Not looking forward to hours cleaning the floor off and then paying another $50 for a product that is actually stable for use on all flooring types. Looks like this product needs a re-design or just steer clear and buy another product that is clearly labeled.

i had this product before...only in a smaller size. it worked great, and the larger one works great also

The floor pad was easy to install because of its light weight and movability. Once it was down it stayed in place. I would buy this pad again

It was helpful to keep the rug in place but it was a bit annoying to lay on the floor because it had bumps that were hard to flatten

I returned this after I read reviews that it would damage hard wood flooring. Too expensive to risk it.

Seems to do the job, adds just enough padding to be comfortable and the rug doesn't move at all.

The size was misleading. It did not fit the rugs that I ordered. I had to use to pads per rug. I alos had bought another pad from somewhere else that had much better grip power and fit the rug better.
