The first time i used it the blade on the lopper chipped in several places. The saw's screws fell out of the handle and were lost.

Exellent product!
The lopper functions smoothly and easily due to the power-gear enhancement, allowing for clean cuts through both hard (dead) wood and green limbs. We have used it to prune mature shrubs including pyracantha and holly as well as the limbs of up to an inch and one-half in diameter of a large Fuyu persimmon tree. We bought one for ourselves and one for our neighbor who has declared it to be "wonderful". The device delivers as advertised.

Totally Awesome - It doesn't get better than this!!
NHJbird was right-"like a hot knife thru butter!"
Don't let the low price fool you, It is absolutely fantastic.
I personally cut a vine and it cut so easily I thought I had missed it!
Cuts up to 1 1/2" diameters, but the handly little saw that stores in the handle takes over from there and is a dream come true.
I'd recommend this to my grand ma even!!
Cuts so well, you'll want to do your neighbors yard too!

Cool little lopper
first, my lopper came from the customer return pile and Home Depot offered to replace it...not enough of an issue to go thru the hoops. I orderded on-line.
This little lopper (a tad smaller than I expected) works like a hot knife thru butter! I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly it cuts through the over growth of shrubs, trees and a strange woody vine winding it's way around our front steps!
I have to say I'd highly recommend this to anyone that has lost some upper body strength or suffers with joint issues. After several physically limiting surgeries, it's a pleasure to be able to go back outside and work around the house and gardens again!

Fantastic Loppers
My hands and wrists are painful to use, especially when it comes to pruning, but these loppers really work just like the ad says. I couldn't keep a smile off my face each time they slipped thru the good sized lilac branches with such ease. No more pain from having to apply force. I loved using them.
Very easy and light weight to use. The pruning saw that the locks into the handle is also a breeze to use, it bites thru wood like mad beaver.

Cuts like a dream
I bought these to replace a ratcheting pair that I had for years. I was a little weary that these weren't ratcheting but the PowerGear really seems to be an equally good design. Everything I've used it on so far has been a breeze to cut. It hardly takes any effort at all to get through a 1" branch. I'm very pleased.
