Multi-Purpose Triple Robe Hook This product line is very well constructed with a great antique brushed finish to it. I also have matching toilet paper holder and hand towel holder for an upcoming update on my small second bathroom. The design of the mounted base is special, no screws showing when installed and that goes for all other matching pieces as well, the mounted bases are all the same. The first gripe I have is that the template picture does not match the actual base, meaning to holes do not align so if you read, it says level and tape template to wall then mark where holes should be. DO NOT figure on the holes marked on the template are the right marks, see picture. I will mark out the placement as I have with all the others in the past, tape ruler, level and pencil mark through the holes (no template). Second gripe is the absence of universal mounting screws, the molly screw bolts will work for my application but would not have in the some other wall applications.

As with the other hardware in this line, this hook mounts sturdily and has great visual appeal. Installation is basic and clear instructions are provided. A template is included with the instructions to accurately position the drill holes for the bracket. I found it worked best to leave the screws inside the metal drywall anchors as they are packaged until after the anchors have been tapped into the wall. The screws provide support to the anchors since the anchors could otherwise bend if hammered into place on their own (I found out the hard way). Next remove the screws, tap the anchors flush and then hang the bracket. The screws spin in one position and cause the tip of the anchors to expand back toward the inside of the wall...basically it pushes back from inside the wall (see the pic below from the instructions). I don't have any negatives. This is a very good robe hook.

I love the styling and functionality of this robe hook. The hook is constructed entirely of metal and is thick and weighty. It installs easily to a wall or door using the included hardware. The installation instructions are detailed and include a number of helpful illustrations, as well as a template for the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is innovative in that it utilizes a wire spring to mount the hook rather than a traditional set screw, which tends to loosen over time. A couple of fasteners are included, however they are too long for use with a standard 1-3/4 inch wide interior door, so I presume they are designed for use in wallboard. Since I generally mount my robe hook to the backside of a door to make use the vacant space, inclusion of a couple of short wood screws would have been appreciated. The hook is clad in a dark Venetian bronze with subtle copper accents at the base and on the ends of each of the three hooks. This robe hook looks great and performs well, and allows you to hang several items at one time, even heavy items. I typically hang a robe, suit and belt on the lower hooks and a hat on the larger top hook. This hook allows you to makes use of the vacant space on a wall or the backside of a door. The hook can be paired with other accessories in the Delta Portman collection, including a towel bar, towel ring and TP holder.

I love this whole set! I ordered the 24"and 18" towel bars, TP holder, towel ring and robe hook. The only thing I wish they had is a soap dish. I picked this set for my 1st floor powder room specifically because of the hooks on the towel bars. The powder room is where we hang wet coats, etc. when coming inside. Now, I won't have to shuffle towels around when we come in from the rain. The set is sturdy quality, and the finish is a really pretty satin. Everything looks great with my new vanity and switch plates! Plus, they don't protrude far from the wall. Installation is fairly easy. All of the pieces come with a separate stencil and instructions. Just FYI - you will need a drill, 1/4" and 1/8" bits, painters tape for the stencil, a pencil and a level. The individual pieces also come with metal drywall fasteners, not the cheap plastic ones. The nickel bases clip onto the wall mounts. A couple clips were a little stubborn but so worth it and there are no tiny screws to drop. (All pieces come with instructions for tile mounting as well). This piece only has one mount so installation was quick. I included a pic so you can see it fits easily behind a door.

great design - poor finish. Had bubbles in the coating. returned it but will order another one and hope the finish quality is better.

The snap into place was the easiest installation i have ever done and there have been many! You attach the mounting base on the wall, align the hook on the base, push up to snap into place. Easy-peasy!

It looks very nice on the back of bathroom door!!!

Hanging an ordinary towel on the hook is challenging at times. Will purchase the single hook the next time

The wall screw mounting is very weak. I had purchase a different wall screw mounting to make the hook work.

I really wish I could have liked this hook. I ended up returning it because it didn't serve the purpose I needed it for. It's great for bathrobes or clothing with a loop where it could attach to the hooks. For towels not so much. The rounded very smooth surface didn't allow the towels to stay put. The towels would slide off. I do like the look, finish and weight of the hook, but unfortunately it didn't work for our towels.
