The order came when expected. The box was somewhat crushed. I looked for damage. I only realized there were small injuries - marks - when I saw it in different light some days later after installing it. These are not going to interfere with usage in any way, so it was not worth the trouble to return. I've had the sam model before and am perfectly pleased with it.

I read the reviews before I purchased this product, and everything said is true. The heat is sent to the top plates which are cast iron. The advantage is nice even heat enough to boil water. The disadvantage is the cast iron takes some time to reach the temperature needed. I purchased this for my roommate to cook in the garage, as my previous roommates shared my kitchen and it was not a good situation. My roommate cooks daily with it and so far it's been almost 1 month of privacy, due to the quality and reliability of this product. I know there are burners available at 25% of the price, but other reviewers educated me about those. I bought this product to work and not fail, and so far it looks like it will last at least 20 years.

We bought this portable cook top so I could set up an "alternate" cooking area while our kitchen was being renovated. I paid a little more for this double burner and am so pleased! Both burners heat up quickly, and I can cook many of the meals I would normally make, such as rice, hamburger strogonoff, sauteed chicken, and macaroni & cheese! Water boils in a glass tea kettle within 8-9 minutes. The "minimum" setting on the burners keeps food warm very nicely, and the 1-2 settings hold a simmer well. I can't tell you how happy I am with this unit -- even though our kitchen won't be ready for 6-8 weeks, we definitely will not have to eat out as often since I can rely on the Waring Pro Double Burner. I would highly recommend it!

This hotplate is a good alternative cooking option when a stove is not available. It does everything a stove can do.

I purchased this dual top professional hot plate because of my experience with the Waring brand. My previous single plate lasted more than 15 years of daily use and I never had any problems. I was grateful to find a replacement at such a good price and it was delivered sooner than expected. I am just as happy with this one's performance.

I purchached this for my mom so she could just heat up soup,boil water.or make eggs. I was very seceptical about how well this would work. I investigated many different products. This was the best price and had mostly good reveiws. I ordered it and decided to try it my self. It was fantastic. I cooked my morning eggs and it was just as if I had cooked them on my Mom's electric stove. I then decided to make lasagna and heated a large pot of water in the same amount of time it takes me on my gass stove. I was very impressed. Will it last--I don't know but it was not as expensive as many other models

A great two burner. The large burner works as well as our stove burner, quick to heat up and very useful.

easy to use and very faster cooking as well. Very light weight and very fast warmed but the use high watt, as it is cast iron. After disconnecting the power, it stays high heat which is very economic. I think very convenient, price worthy, recommend to use it.

The stove was easy to operate, portable and efficient. We use it to demonstrate cooking lessons and have found the device most adequate for this endeavor

I purchased a single Waring hotplate burner just to try it out. I am satisfied with its performance. I also like the fact that the body is heavy and provides a sturdy base for the cookware. It does not wobble and wiggle when you are cooking. I am returning the single burner and replacing it with this double burner because I could use an extra to burner.

While kitchen is under construction, this double burner is a life saver. Works really well. I have used it every day. Boiling water takes a bit of time, but when cooking with a nonstick frying pan, food cooks really quickly and holds heat for a long time. The unit is so easy to use and is of great quality.

We bought this to get us through a kitchen remodel. It has performed well. Will be great to have if we need extra burners for holiday gatherings.

The burner is of heavy metal and stays were placed. The stainless steel wipes up any spillage easily. I did find the cord a little short, and extra foot would have been a large help.

This stove works great just as advertised. It is well built, heats up fast and the temperature controls are outstanding. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has additional cooking requirements. Definitely an attractive addition to our kitchen and its made in the USA.

I wasn't sure that to expect when purchasing this burner, but it worked great. I was easily able to figure out the temperature I needed and both burners are spaced well. They get very hot, I wasn't sure how much power they would have but was impressed with it. Also, very easy to transport and cooled down pretty quickly once I was packing up. Glad I bought it!

The burner works fine but I'd not recommend this to anyone who doesn't have patience to wait. It takes very long time to boil up some water for pasta and to heat up a small fry pan to cook eggs would take a long time. It takes FOREVER to heat up anything basically! It's probably a good item to use for long/slow simmering.

We purchased this to use while our kitchen is being remodeled. For the price, it heats really well, it just takes a little time. The burners are a little small and close, but for temporary cooking it's great. The quality is Ok, ours arrived in a damaged box and was a little bent, but works fine.

Great product! Works awesome! Make sure you do an instore delivery, got mine in the mail today and the box was destroyed. It was taped all back together (kinda), all the paperwork was missing, and the whole thing was tweaked. I had to bend it all out of it to get it to sit flat, and one of the corners was popped out. We need it now so a return is not possible, not that i would want to take the chance again with getting another beat up one. Maybe they should put thier products in another box for shipping?

The two burner hot plate works well for the few things I've tried: scrambled eggs, sausage patties, ground beef for sloppy joes, and reheating pizza. We are having our kitchen redone and I needed something for cooking to complement our small hibachi. We have no microwave. I have been impressed with how quickly the bigger burner heats up, but have to be careful as things can burn! I've always cooked with gas, so not seeing the flame makes it hard for me to judge the heat. Eager to try hard-boiled eggs and rice. Very pleased with home depot's 90 day warranty, as our kitchen should be done by then, so spending just over $70 to keep us from eating out more is a big savings. I plan to keep it after the kitchen is done for the few times I may need an additional burner.

Easy to clean. 5 Settings. Attractive. Read instructions before use. You must heat the burners for a short time before first-time use. Would have given 5 stars but it takes a little long to heat up.

I like the fact that the burners are sealed and I do not have to deal with cleaning under burners. It is somewhat slow in heating up but the tradeoff is well worth it. It seems to be well-built and sturdy and I like the two burners, the back one being used mostly to hold a dutch oven. I researched electric burners, decided this one had the best features and I am very satisfied with it. Living in a studio apartment without a regular stove I use it for all my stovetop cooking and it works out great.

After researching several dual burners, this burner had great reviews. I use it all the time and never had a problem using it. It heats up quickly and cooks evenly. I highly recommend it.

Perhaps we got a defective unit, but the larger burner shuts down by itself, before we finish cooking. It is brand new so we are not sure why.

It's only been about two months that I have been using the waring but it's performing great. The plates heat up quickly. I use It for the basics like pasta, eggs and soups. Cleans up easily with a sponge and some water when plates are still warm. After researching reviews on the different burners, I believe, in my opinion that this is GREAT deal for HIGH QUALITY burner!

We bought this product when we began remodeling our kitchen and needed a temporary stove. After about a month of using it, the 1300 watt burner began to work intermittently and then finally died. We purchased another one and Home Depot refunded us for the cost of the original one. Other than the problem burner, it worked fine.
