Very Bad Quality, chain broke in the first day. My 6 years old daughter pulled the door and chain broke very easy, not safe for homes in general. Not Recommended!

The key function worked smoothly. If I don't want the chain it can easily be removed.

Easy to install

The drill was easy to assemble but I didn’t know that the product had a warning that it can cause cancer. Had I known that prior to buying the product I would have never purchased it.

Great product.

No quality control! I removed the chain and bar from locking device per instructions to install locking device to door frame. After installing, the chain and bar would not slide in. After investigating the cause, I found the lower mounting screw was not flush preventing the bar from going in. I removed the locking device that I just installed and found the the holes were not countersunk so the screw stuck out slightly.I countersunk the hole and reinstalled and it now works. Also, the rivet holding the chain to the bar is loose and comes out slightly. I had to take a ball pein hammer and pound on the rivet to tighten it up. When I buy something, I shouldn't have to fix it so it will work! Doesn't seem they have any quality control.

I had to redrill & countersink the body mounting hole because the mounting screws were not supplied and standard countersunk screw heads interfered with the release of the locking member. Since I ordered it on the website, it would have taken too long to get a replacement (perhaps this time with mounting screws?).

This product is heavy duty and would provide good security.

Great lock; however, when I installed it as the directions exhibited I could easily slip my hand (from the outside) in through the door and slide the chain to release the lock. I remounted it farther away from the edge of the door, and I was then not able to reach through the door and release the lock. Be sure to consider this.

Next time I will pay a little more for a better lock, though this one is good and doing a good job for the moment.

lock installs easily and secures door from our 6 year old and prevents him getting into storage area where we keep supplies for garden which may be harmful to him.

We have an adopted 3 1/2 year old and needed added security in keeping her in the house! Our 29 and 32 year old sons can now come in without us having to get up to unchain the door.
