We have an old house so there are lots of doors. We were looking to replace the old brass-colored knobs with nickel but it was difficult to find plain, simple door knobs in store. I ordered what I thought were the same knobs off of Amazon (Schlage Plymouth in nickel) since I was driven to buying online. The ones from Amazon looked the same but felt rough, as if they missed the last sealant step in the finishing process. I returned the Amazon order and ordered these. The surface of the knobs is smooth. Both the appearance and quality are as expected. Very pleased with the purchase.

Works fine until you install it, then it sticks. For being a Schlage and the price we paid, would expect better.

Love these. Look great and easy to install, once you look at it - make sure facing the right way, etc. I am not sure I love the screws oriented top and bottom rather than left and right, but it works.

Nice knob. I like that the knob has a quick release so you can easily get to the screws that hold both knobs together and all parts are supplied including a pin to unlock the door from the outside.

The satin chrome finish is just what I want. ?? These replace existing Schlage of a different finish. Easy to get old off and new installed. Can even mix finishes on both sides of the same door. The variety of finishes available is appreciated. Also purchased some for closet doors.

We replaced 5 closet doorknobs with these Schlage matte black doorknobs. They were easy to install and look great with black door hinges. Happy with product.
