I am very pleased with the well constructed
umbrella. The stripes on the seams sewn together
match up perfectly ! It looks very beautiful on our
patio. It makes the area very cozy and inviting .
Love , love , love it !

Large patio umbrella
Nice large umbrella but difficult to open. Need to exert a lot of effort to open. Gives nice solid shade. Would be better if it could tilt.

Disappointed
after just 3 months the umbrella broke at the crank. I found it down one morning . I called the 800 number several times since the item is supposed to have a 1 year warranty and all they say is for umbrellas leave a message. I am still waiting a return call from the manufacturer after 3 attempts at leaving a message.
DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM

Umbrella was broken, but store was very courteous in handling the return process.
Umbrella's cord was broken upon arrival. I returned it to the store and the return process was very smooth and the staff very courteous. I did not reorder for fear of the quality.

Cheap crank system
We have had our umbrella in use for less than 3 weeks. The crank system is weak and just now, I tried to open the umbrella and the crank is not working.

Product not as described and hard to crank up fully
Beautiful product but...on the hd site they described it as having a "tilting" feature. When it arrived my umbrella did not. I called the plantations pattern company to clarify if they even made the product as described and they do not. The 11ft umbrella is too large /heavy to have a tilt feature. Also the umbrella gets progressively harder to crank as it goes up. I waxed the rope with my dog's paw wax (mushers secret) and it fixed it immediately, however I don't know if this fix would've lasted long term or gunned up the crank system over time. I've returned the product after two days of use to exchange it for something that fits my needs better. If you want a large umbrella and don't mind leaving it open then I would recommend this product, otherwise pass on it

Amazing paint and primer
This paint has a great price point. Goes on very smoothly and hardly requires a second coat. I would buy this product again.

Poorly constructed. Substandard materials
The umbrella and pole are made of quality materials. The problem is with the plastic hand crank mechanism and skinny thin twine used to raise and lower the umbrella. The umbrella is thick heavy fabric attached to long wooden spines. The hand crank struggles to open the umbrella and feels like it's going to break at any second every time you open the umbrella. I find I have to keep backing off with the hand crank and even lowering it a bit several times before it will finally turn fairly easily and raise the umbrella all the way to the top. A thicker cord with a pulley system would be alot more durable for an umbrella of this size. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I worry that the pole is not heavy enough to support the umbrella in even moderate winds.
The fabric & colors are perfect for our patio set, but the pole feels way too lightweight to handle our moderal winds and the lift mechanism is difficult to get to the top; it feels like it's binding and the cord is going to break as I try to get umbrella fully open!

Covers Better Than A Rectangle Umbrella
After a rain storm my rectangle umbrella was broken. I had in storage this umbrella and to my surprise covered my retangle table with six chairs. I'm ordering another one -- different color. This color stripe pattern was perfect! Thanks HomeDepot.

Love it!!
I got this umbrella as a gift. It fits my table and deck perfectly. Love the color. it is a little hard to turn but I think it is because it is an 11ft umbrella not a 9ft.

Not bad, but not great.
We bought 2 of these for our patio wanting the extra shade provided by the bigger umbrellas. They are very pretty, a nice color and nice fabric, however structurally they have a few cons. The one that fits into our cast metal table was ok after we cut about a foot off the bottom of the pole. The other that is free standing between our chaises was already about a foot shorter but still needed to be shortened to offset how top heavy it is. Even shortening the pole we have to tie it to the railing or a decent breeze will blow it over (even when folded down). The fabric is nice but just stretchy enough the pockets will not stay on the ends of the support poles when it is folded up. Also, as someone else mentioned, they are hard to crank up or down. All in all, they are OK but just OK.

Hard to crank
This umbrella is very hard to crank up and down. Workmanship seems OK but there were some loose threads that should have been removed before shipping,

Super Size
The size is perfect for a large table. Shades the people seated nicely for a change. But its a little expensive. If its windy you better find something strong to keep it stable.

Very disappointed and dissatisfied!
The package was not taped when it arrived and there is no instruction with it. The umbrella was very hard to open and when we tried to close it because it was windy, we could not close it, it was very hard to turn. We don't know how to return it to the store since the umbrella could not close. We like the size but performance was defective.

Nice size for an umbrella
Perfect coverage for patio table and chairs @ 11', hard to open, one seem in umbrella was not prop stitched at factory, wife had to sew about a 2' section at one of the seems. Other then that, really like it.

cant reach the company
Purchased an outdoor umbrella. It arrived missing the pole that holds the umbrella up. Spent almost two weeks leaving messages at the companys 800 number. Finally contacted Home Depot to return unusable umbrella. Home depot finally got the company to send me the pole. Total aggravation!

We love the style.
We like the umbrella, but is not what we expected. The main poles are of a plastic and we thought it was metal. The ribs are the same. So we are disappointed but do like it and will keep it.

Pole snapped in half!
Great fabric, loved the large size, but the umbrella was really hard to open and the crank never felt strong enough; always felt like crank was going to snap off every time I put the umbrella up. 2 months after purchasing the whole pole snapped right under the crank like a cheap piece of plastic. It may have been a little breezy that night but wouldn't classify as windy...great sturdy umbrella attached to a piece of garbage pole. Not worth the money.

nice but probably not worth it
this umbrella is great looking. the crank, however, is impossibly difficult to operate and seems to be getting worse - so much so that raising the umbrella is now next to impossible when at first it was only a challenge. When lowering it, the umbrella tends to fall closed after a certain point (watch your head) once cranked enough. I don't know if it's actually going to last another season. invest in a better one.

Great color, does not fade.
takes some muscle power to wind up and wind down, would be tough for a senior citizen!
