This is a beautiful umbrella and I feel certain it may hold up better in less windy areas. We get strong winds in the Sierra foothills and although this umbrella was closed, it was done in within three weeks of our owning it. I heard a snap, a piece of metal was on the patio... Oops, there it went!

really nice looking and made well, a little pricey, but I am pleased with it.

It is very well made, with a high quality fabric. The pattern is perfect, and the pole is made very sturdy. I would love to see this pattern in a six sided style.

I'm happy with this umbrella. Nothing fancy, decently priced. Not a lot to choose from in this shape. It took a long time to come though (about two weeks).

Nice stripe pattern, but umbrella has a very thin fabric and stiff mechanism. Not sure it will last through more than one season. Not really what I expected.

I bought this for a cafe table on the deck of my summer cabin. It was one of the few 6 foot umbrellas available in this color. It's attractive and matches the seat cushions of another manufacturer and the trim color of the house. I think the materials used are good quality. It will be interesting to see if it holds up in the harsh sun of the Sierras. The first time I tried to open it the mechanism snapped back at me pretty hard. I'm worried that someone will really hurt their hand. It doesn't tilt, which I knew when I ordered it, but still wish it did.

The umbrella broke into peices in a light wind the first time I used it.

This umbrella is so colorful and easy to open and close. We love Plantation Patterns. This is our second set from this company. We gave our first to son and his friend for a housewarming gift. They are thrilled with it and we are thrilled with our new one.
