My primary application for this was to shield my spring seedlings from the squirrels for a few weeks. For this it worked surprisingly well. Here are my likes: - Netting lets enough sun in to be sufficient for plants, while also not allowing sun scorch - Netting lets water and rain in very well. Hard rain is disbursed and slowed down, protecting tender plants. - Besides the net, a translucent solid cover is also provided (for greenhouse type applications) But some improvement could be made: - Came with no instructions. We need some tips on usage! - Not enough clips to hold the netting to the cage. Need more clips. The kit is made well for taller plants. Since I was using it for my new seedlings this April, I spread it out and lower, augmenting it with some other supports. (See photo.) The netting is large enough to handle different applications. The netting should keep out insects and birds. But most importantly for me, it kept away those squirrels!

Tis is a great little greenhouse type set up to help protect young plants from external critters, bugs, etc. I've had deer problems where they come by and eat my young plants before they even have a change. This protection kit is great because it lets the plants grow to a good size where they can withstand a few eaten leaves. I enjoy this kit, but it makes me want a full size greenhouse :-)

OK, so it's January and snowing and I get row covers. Several months ago, I received root pouches that came well after harvest time so I started a winter garden in the house. The pouches are holding up great and it's been really nice having fresh veggies thru the cold NH winter. Since it's too early for strawberry season, I tried the row cover on my "portable indoor garden". It's very easy to set up and cover. Further, it's very easy to move the covering back to water and pick, and recover. I can say this - just because the garden is indoors, it's not without a pest! My cat, Mr. Kitty, is no longer getting easy greens anymore! I look forward to ordering more this spring and will use them to protect my strawberries as well as other veggies in the big garden. A little flimsy in the wind we have had lately but it keeps my peppers happy at night. We don't have super cool temps yet but I have new blooms and new pepper babies coming in. Was easy to setup, easy to cover. It's super tall so works on short plants not tall ones like tomatoes. Will double for bug control in spring.

I ordered this product whensquirrels started to eat the bell pepper plants in my garden. I wanted a solution for this problem that is safe and chemical-free and this was the perfect product to do the job. Its a great product for the value. It comes with three hoops and three different types of cover for your needs. one is a mesh to protect the plants from animals and insects, the second cover is a fabric-like paper-made material to protect from scorching sun and extreme heat and the third cover is a transparent foil that is good to use early spring and late fall to protect your plants from getting frost. The kit also has some clips to keep the mesh in place over the hoops and two stakes to close the ends. this a great kit and does a wonderful job!

I was having problems with animals eating my veggie garden. I installed the protection and now my vegetables are no longer being eaten. They getting plenty of sunshine and watering is easy.
