Nice tool for the price. Reasonably accurate. Pins are a bit cheap but there is an extra pair provided. Battery is poor quality and low upon installing so I had to put in new, brand name battery. Dearborn Heights Home Depot service was great. Picked up at Locker Box without concern.

So far the meter is great! Battery, buttons easy to understand. Test measurement of wood and other mats looks good. Hope it has good long-term life if well-treated. Thanks ! Perfect delivery.

Use to measured the moisture content of a new cedar fence before staining and sealing it. I didn't want to wait months and hope that the moisture content was ok for staining.

Pins bend easily when pressed into wood. It works well otherwise.

What an terrific product! Very affordable and indispensable for determining if your firewood is seasoned enough to burn efficiently. Also works on drywall.

The moisture meter worked accurately on a new outdoor cedar fence & was easy to use. The top, although difficult to remove, has an added feature to "calibrate" the moisture meter. The moisture meter has an extra set of pins, which is also a nice feature (though I did not need them, nor did I try to replace the original pins). The moisture meter needs to be used with gentle pressure because the pins are small & look to be delicate.

The Pins are made of bad steel with just hand pressure you can bend them, of course on very hard woods. The rest of it is good, I guess.

The product is short on instructions (there are none at all), but easy enough to figure out. Did what I needed it to do.
