I am so pleased with this product! It is exactly what I wanted, what I expected, and what I envisioned... The quality is superb... the color looks authentic to grass, the plugs are close together, so it is plush to walk on. I laid a 10' x 11' section in the patio with this because I have the patio fenced and gated in case I need to temporarily confine him there due to mowing, or fertilizing, etc... This way he can be on the soft surface, in shade if needed, do his business (it does not retain odor or stain; I just allow to seep into the ground like in the real grass, and if #2 I clean it up and rinse with hose...) My dog loves it!! and it is no maintenance... no weeds, no mowing, clean and neat looking. (I wish I could afford to do the entire property!) I put stone dust first, tamped that, and placed the "carpet" directly on that; and then made a border out of the patio blocks...My ONLY negative about this product is that it can get hot in the 90 degree summer sun, but we have a Keeshond, and he does not hang out outside in that weather... if he does go out, I just hose it down to cool it off... I am thinking, since he is comfortable going to the bathroom on it, I could get a smaller piece, and take it away with us for places where it is not easy to get outside for him to do his business... put some puppy training pads under it to absorb, and then just change them out after he goes? I may try that! Anyway... so far, i recommend this product!
