The PermaPro travel trailer cover is made of 100-percent polyester fabric, one of the most UV and sun resistant vehicle cover fabrics. I appreciated the light weight of this cover for its installation since my wife is disabled and cannot help me. When installing an RV cover for the first time it is best when possible to spread it out in a clean driveway. Once the front, back, and sides have been identified, roll the sides up to the center and roll the front or rear of the cover in the direction you intend to install it when standing on the roof of the RV. Protect your rain gutter down spouts if you have them as they will be broken by the cover or wear holes in the cover due to wind. The PermaPro Travel Trailer cover seemed a bit large for my 23 foot, 6-inch travel trailer due to my trailer's sloped front. I installed the cover with the excess to the front of my trailer since the back is square. If you plan to own your RV for more than 10 years, I recommend covering it as a covering it significantly extend its life and appearance. Uncovered, a rubber roof will likely need recoating or replacement at 10-years of age.

I found this item online at HomeDepot.com I did not know that Home Depot carried RV supplies so I was pleasantly surprised. I researched this cover to ensure Fit and correct materials for water resistance. I received the cover and installed it, Very easy and adjustable for a precise fit. 5 Stars.

Great Product
This cover is well designed, quality made and is a great solution for protection of your RV investment. I am quite impressed with the multitude of features - many zippered panels with velcro to aid in the zippering process, tabs at the top to hold the zippered panels when open, two straps at either end to take up slack, three belly bands, vents, etc. They have done a good job in making this a fully featured product. Although my trailer is advertised as a 21', the box actually measures 18'. I was disappointed that I had to buy a 20'er but it turns out the excess can easily be taken up with the straps. It would, however, look better if it was designed for 18'. The storage bag that is included is very nice - lots of zippers! They also include a little bag that you fill with gravel. Once it is latched on to the belly strap, it then helps when it is thrown under the trailer to the other side. They have really thought about how this product will be used!

Quality and fit couldn't be beat. I just wish that the 4 top corners were labeled as to where they go. That would have made such a large piece of material easier to install. I will label them when its time to remove the cover.

Like others who have reviewed this product, I found it lighter weight material than competing products but it is much stronger than the Tyvek material and much nicer to handle. It is also slippery so avoid stepping on it when spreading it on the roof. I would recommend opening the package on the grass and re-rolling it for easier installation as it was difficult to do that on the roof. I did protect my gutter spouts with foam pipe wrap. It seems to have plenty of air circulation and sheds rain nicely. Straps are nice and well placed but it could use one more between the wheels. They used a couple of pieces of surplus material to package the cover, so I tried to tear one of them. Couldn't tear it either direction so I think you will find this a very strong and satisfactory cover.

Overall it seems to be a very nice cover. It’s only been on for a month but it’s been through a very rough few days of wind with no issues. I have this on a 22.5 ft travel trailer with an overall height of 10.2 ft. A little longer than needed but the straps help keep it in place.

I was surprised at the high quality of this product. I installed this on our camper on my own and didn't have a problem with any tearing as I had to pull and maneuver the cover quite a bit. I got this cover intending to put it on my camper while storing in my barn to keep it from becoming covered with dirt. The bag it comes in makes it very easy to store the cover when not in use and haul it with you and use on the road if needed. It came with a roll of reinforced fabric in case of tears but the cover is so sturdy I doubt I will need it for a long time.

      Super lightweight but very strong
I bought this at the beginning of winter. It was very easy to put on due to it being so light weight. We have had some really hard winds so far this winter, and the cover is holding up great. I do wish it was a bit wider. With my a/c on top, the covers vents dont sit down on the side like they should. Other than that, its a great cover

We all know at some point you will need to replace the roof of your travel trailer at some so why not protect it to make it last longer. For the expense, it beats replacing the roof by tons even if you need to buy a new cover in 5 years...we will see about that one...time will tell. Measure the box of your trailer and do not go by the plate that gives you overall length to the tongue...this tongue dimension would be wrong. First, the trailer should be cleaned, leaves and organic plan life removed, awning opened and cleaned and allow it all to thoroughly dry to prevent mildew. Now it's time for the installation of the cover which WILL take at least 2 PEOPLE and maybe a third for a spotter. This cover is pretty thin and actually more so than I thought it would be but this is a good thing to some degree. It's not too horribly heavy but it is slick when you walk on it especially where it doubles over on itself as you unroll it so extra care in your footing is needed. The front of the trailer is mildly sloped and does have extra material that I hope the wind does not grab and rip to shreds. Take time to determine the items that may need extra attention that could tear your cover like the antennae and the drip guards and anything on the awning (add an awning cover for added protection). It's worth it to save the extreme expense in having the membrane replaced and fits well. The access works but is not perfectly lined up for all doors so take caution when opening doors so as not to cut into the cover if it laps over.

        Easy to install
Recently purchased from my local RV dealer to cover a 17' StarCraft trailer (Model 1). Easy installation and snugs up really well. We'll see how it holds up to an Upstate New York winter!

          Easy to put on!
My wife and I were able to install this cover on our trailer today in about 30-45 minutes. It was a breeze and easy to do. We'll see how easy it is to put it back in the bag in spring!

            Great Cover
I just purchased this cover and put it on my trailer. It went on easily and left a little extra room to cover the box at the front of my trailer. The look is sharp and I have had people comment on how well my trailer is covered. It covers the ac and solar panel and reaches the ground with no difficulties. The material is good quality and I expect to be able to use it for many years.

Installed RV cover. Time will tell how it performs
Purchased the cover a couple of weeks ago and installed over the weekend. I have a new 32 ft. travel trailer that I'm covering for the first winter. Unpacked the cover from the bag, according to the directions. The directions really didn't work here. The directions said to unroll from the front to rear. Needed to start in the middle and unroll in both directions. Once unrolled, we found we had the front on the back and back on the front (our fault). The cover was wrong side up, which meant we had to flip it over...Not easy to do once you've already unrolled it on the roof. The cover is slick as can be under your shoes, so it took careful maneuvering. Once we got the cover on, I really like the cover. The cinch-straps on the front and rear were great to size the cover correctly. Cinching the bottom with the 5 straps wasn't bad either. Nice design (coming from an engineer). The material is thinner than I expected, but as long as it performs, I'll assume Classic made the right design decisions. But, all-in-all, I like the look of the cover and how it fit my travel trailer.

Excellent Product, Poor instructions, Needs More hold downs
I just received this cover for my Rockwood Mini Lite 1905. It is a little long, but the length is right at 18 ft so I ordered the Model 1 instead of the Model 0. It is made of high quality rip stop material that I think will last a long time. I have 4 roof gutter drains that protrude that I will have to cover with Styrofoam or maybe a swimming tube. It does have 3 zippered panels on the passenger side and one in the back for access inside the trailer when the cover is on. It does have 3 straps that pass under the trailer to secure it. It needs 2 strap on each end with hook to secure the ends as well. My biggest problems was the lack of directions or hints to get the thing on. Here are mine: - Make sure the trailer is level and the stabilizers are down before climbing on the roof. - Wait for evening or a cloudy day to put it on - it gets really hot on the roof when the sun is out. - DO NOT walk on the cover on the roof - it is slippery as heck. - Unpack and spread out the cover before trying to put it on. Learn where the front and back corners are. - Unzip the access door panels on the right and the back. - Roll it up as best you can from the back right towards the left front. We will unroll starting at the left front. - Place it on the Front left side of the trailer. Go up on the roof. - Find the front left corner (I marked mine) and slowly unroll dropping it over the front and left sides. - Work towards the back. The front done first, then the left side, than the right side. Back is last. - Make sure the cover is straight on the trailer. Adjust as required (do this from a step ladder) - Zip up all the access panels and secure with the Velcro at the bottom of the zipper. - Secure the straps that go underneath the trailer. Secure the straps on each end of the trailer. - Secure any loose material as best you can.

                  A no brainer!!!
When searching for a cover for our travel trailer it was a no brainer when selecting this one. It had great reviews besides the one I'm leaving. Cost, looks, fit, and the warranty!!! What else can you say! Get one!

                    Lasts about 2 years
I purchased the XT Model 6 in 2010. The cover arrived quickly and was not difficult to install. But putting it back into the stuff bag at the end of the season was very difficult. The bag could have been bigger. After the 2nd season, it had formed several small holes where the fabric had torn or worn through. The company was great about replacing it under the 3-year warranty. Because the XT Model 6 was much too long for my 37' 5th wheel (actual measurement minus the ladder), I had them replace it with the XT Model 5 which was a perfect fit. However, the XT-5 had shorter zippers on the side which made it impossible to open the trailer door. The replacement cover also last through only 2 seasons before it also had several small tears and holes. I put it on my trailer again this year for the 3rd year, but I have attempted to repair several holes and tears with Gorilla duct tape from the underside. I just hope it makes it through the winter. I'll definitely need to replace it next year. Classic's customer service is great and their prices are good, so I'll consider buying from them again, but I'll get a better cover.

                      Awesome 5th Wheel Cover
We purchased a cover for our 35' 5th wheel almost a year ago and during a huge thunderstorm it was shredded. We contacted the warranty department, emailed a copy of the receipt and a photo of the cover in tatters on the RV and they shipped us a brand new replacement cover right away! Thank you so much for standing by your warranty and making it easy for us. We love our cover.
