Beautiful finish, love this floor
I bought this flooring when it was on clearance at my local Home Depot for about $1/SQFT and I got a steal of a deal! The kitchen, dining room, and hallways of my condo were already in a light maple-colored laminate and I couldn't find that Pergo product or a product that matched it well enough to do the living room so I decided to go contrasting when I found the Williams Cherry by Pergo on the clearance rack. Now that it's in, I kind of wish I had pulled out the old maple laminate in at least the dining room and carried the cherry into that space, too, but the two laminates look nice enough next to each other that I'm still happy with the outcome. Self-installation was easy; the only problems I had were mostly my own fault. The best installation tip I can give is to make sure the pull bar is against the floor before you pound the laminate pieces together. Mine would occasionally skip up onto the interlocking edge so that when I pounded on the pull bar it would end up chipping the surface of the laminate and I would have to redo that piece. I remedied this by putting the pull bar against the floor, sliding it up to the side of the laminate piece and then having someone stand on the pull bar with just enough pressure to make sure it maintained contact with the subfloor/underlayment while I pounded pieces into place. After that method was instituted install when like a breeze and the flooring didn't chip. The only other issue I ran into was that I would open a box and find that the entire box had chipped corners, or damaged interlocking edges. I was doing a large enough area and enough small, fiddly areas (closets), and had enough overage that it wasn't a huge problem and I could use those as my edge or cut pieces or hide them in closets where I wasn't as concerned about having chips in the floor. Just make sure to examine each piece of laminate before you lay it and pound it together. Love this floor. I would recommend it to anyone.

What a DEAL!
We got this on clearance, they had just enough for our entry way. We had never installed this kind of flooring before and it was "a snap" literally. What an easy project with such a beautiful outcome. The snap in feature of making the floating floor I was a bit skeptical of but it worked like a champ and was FAST and easy.

Great Look..Great Price..Easy to install
Great look for the price you cant possibly go wrong also Pergo is one of the best in the business. Install was easy once you get the feel you dont need to hit them with a mallet your hands are enough. Just pay attention when you buy them there is no bottom to the box so choose good boxes I only had one bad plank out of 5 boxes. like I said once you get the hang of it its smooth sailing.

Excellent product! looks great in my living room!
We need to change our vinyl flooring to a laminate flooring and this product is great choice and not regretting a bit. So far not a single problem. It's shiny and manageable. I will very much recommend this product to anyone.

Great value, but quality control issues
Very inexpensive, and it looks great when installed. Nearly 1 board in every box had surface laminate imperfections or damage to the connector. Since this is a special order, I recommend requesting one or two extra boxes to replace the bad boards. Return each box worth of unused boards for a refund after construction.

      Color
Easy to put down. Easy on the eyes. The color works great with my clear coated oak stair rails.

        DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I've had this flooring for less than a year and it's completely trashed and it cost me thousands upon thousands of dollars. If it gets wet AT ALL, I mean, AT ALL, it warps horribly. If you spill something it will be warped in SECONDS, by the time you come back with a paper towel it's already ruined because it's basically made of pressed paper and sawdust. Don't plan on ever mopping it, I have to clean it on my hands and knees so that I can be careful not to get any water in the seams for even a fraction of second, otherwise it will warp. Sometimes I can afford to hire a cleaning lady to do it for me, sometimes not, if I have to clean it myself it takes about four hours. It also scratches much more easily than you would think, like, sliding a chair out to sit down. They market this as kid/pet tough, bad marketing strategy!

          Impressed with Presto
Purchased a total of 2400 sq.ft. of the Presto Washington. I have installed approximately 1600 sq.ft with limited issues. I have found several pieces that had small chips on one end or the other, but really not an issue. I purchased Pergo flooring 21 years ago for a different home that I still own and the flooring is still in place with no problems. Pergo is a great product and the reason why I continue to buy Pergo. If you are considering Presto Washington, I do recommend purchasing and installing.

            Very nice floor
I have installed many floors wood and laminate ranging in all prices. This is a very nice laminate and quite easy to install. The reviews stating otherwise clearly are DIY'ers with not much experience in installation. I have installed over 2500 sf. of this Washington Cherry and the floor is beautiful and an above average quality.

            Great for a bedroom
I purchased this flooring for my son's room, approximately 132 sq feet; The room came out great. I love the color and the feel and the quality. The material is thicker than others I have used and is of very good quality. I did not really have any trouble installing it. The tongue and groove clicked together pretty easily although I did need to bang and tap every piece in until they connected but that is pretty standard for laminate flooring.

Examine the boxes in the store
We picked a Pergo Presto, and started loading boxes on the flatbed, and then noticed that there is no bottom to the box, just plastic wrap. Then we examined the edges, and saw that what we thought was a dmaged cardboard box was actually the edge of the product. Several of the boxes in the stack had been damaged in handling. so many that we had to chose a different color after setting many boxes aside.

Not what I would expect from Pergo
The reviewer who described the locking issues was dead on. Pergo presto is no better than other budget laminate products: cheaply made, and a very poor locking mechanism. The cardboard comment about the tongue quality also struck home with my experience in installing it. Takes 5 minutes to install each plank with plenty of hammering and wedging and grunting and groaning. Pergo XP, in contrast, installs in seconds with no tools. If your time and patience is valuable, save your self the aggravation and buy a better product - one that has click locks on the short ends like XP. I still give it a 2-3 because On the upside it does look great when installed and it is a very durable floor. And since every plank is wedged together with about 20 rubber mallet strokes - it ain't going anywhere.

              Black Friday Deal
I bought the Pergo Washington Cherry on a Black Friday deal at my local Home Depot and installed it a few weeks later. I don't agree with a previous review about it being cheaply made or poor locking edges. I have installed several different brands of these snap together flooring and Pergo defiantly had a great locking mechanism. Also the bottom had a smooth protective layer and each entire piece is covered in a waxy protectant which easily wipes off. I had no issues with this product and it's beauty is superb. I am actually buying more of this exact product in 2 weeks from this post to do another room. So if your looking for a great look and quality, this is it.

              Floor looks great
with an affordable price we finally could put down a laminate floor in our bedroom. My husband put the floor in. He said it was hard work, but not too hard for a "non" professional to be able to accomplish. So far the floor looks great and feels great under our feet. I know Pergo is a good brand for performance and I am hoping I can rave about it's performance for years to come!

              poorly made locking
We bought this product because we assumed the Pergo brand would be of decent quality. We had a lot of problems installing because the tongue and grove pieces were so cheaply made they resembled cardboard at times. The edges of the tongues frayed and when locking an adjoining piece the frayed edge would wedge between the two pieces causing the two boards to not line up properly. This happened so many times and we had to keep pulling boards apart and scraping frayed material off the tongue pieces so they were smooth. Each time we had to pull a board apart after locking it in place it damaged the tongue even more. By scraping the frayed bits from the tongue it damaged the locking efficiency, but we had no other choice. Our floor has been installed for about a month now. We didn't catch every single piece that didn't lock evenly and are worried that in a few years time we will have to replace the flooring. Some of the pieces have separated some and I am guessing it's due to us having to smooth out the tongue on the boards causing inefficient locking. Looking back we should have checked out the quality of the tongue and grove before purchasing. But as first time buyers we had not idea what to look for.
