The Pegatha aluminum black baluster (face mount) is a nice product. It's a bit pricey but looks much better than the pressure treated wood balusters and much less maintenance. I don't know how they will hold up long term but they certainly met my expectations short term. The end caps as others have mentioned can be a little loose on some. What I did was install the caps offline and figure out which end was the most likely to come loose and install that upwards so it sat against the underside of the rail cap. Others have complained about the black screws included not working well. I was able to use them with my impact driver on low torque setting and a hand screw driver with square bit to finish tightening. A square bit probably should have been included however if the bit was cheap and you had a lot to install, you would need to get a higher quality bit anyway. I used these as part of an overhaul of my deck. I built a new railing system with PT wood and waited 8 months before cleaning sanding and staining. The floor I stripped, sanded, brightened and stained. My goal was to reduce the maintenance going forward so I used a penetrating oil stain (higher end) this time instead of a film forming finish water based stain. The balusters were the last item to install to finish the project and it worked out great.

prompt delivery, plenty of extra screws. easy install. start the first one dead center, 3.5 inch space (2x4)to the next one, you will always come out with perfect spacing and a really pro looking install. so easy even my Georgia Tech grad neighbor can do it.

These balusters really class up a deck from basic wood ones. Very easy to install. I used a 2x4 as a spacer so they are all evenly spaced. Start from middle of rail between posts and work your way out. Black aluminum post caps brings it all together nicely too

Love! These balusters have turned our pressure treated deck into an eye-catching conversation piece. We have received so many compliments. They offer a much richer look than standard wood balusters, without breaking the bank. Easy installation, as well. We are very happy with this product.

Very simple design. Very clean look as well. Comes with plastic end caps and screws. Worked well on porch rails and stairs. I would absolutely recommend these balusters.

After replacing the stair treads on my basement steps, I needed a stair rail with ballusters for the safety of my grandchildren. While looking online at Home Depot for ballusters, I clicked on the deck railings and ultimately chose the bronze aluminum face mount. These were not only easy to install, but the look is great!

I must admit I had expected these to be round, since it was unclear from the listing that they were in fact 1"x1/2" square section. But once I allowed for this they were perfectly good. They come with same-colored stainless screws which is a nice touch.

Worked out great. Did not use the end caps for our project, so maybe there should be a purchase option without end caps.

We love the balusters. They look great and elevated the look of our deck. The shipment arrived on time and the product was exactly as described and expected.
