No directions included with product, very easy to cut wrong pieces during installation. There are several set ups that appear to be same product but different prices, not sure why ?

For the price of this shower ring and shower head, it's quality is very disappointing. I installed this about 1.5 years ago and I've already had several problems with it. The polished chrome plating is very thin and looks very cheap, as is the shower head. About the only thing that has any quality feel to it is the mixing valve assembly. The mixing valve assembly is quite solid and sturdy, but the connection to the riser for the shower head is a weird size. There is a threaded hollow nut that fastens the shower head riser to the mixing valve assembly and this is just cheap zinc/pot metal. The nut was not cross-threaded or overtightened and within 1 week it had cracked and failed, sending water all out of the top of the mixing valve. Of course you can't find a replacement nut, so the only solution was to put a piece of flexible hose with a hose clamp onto the assembly. The set screws that hold the shower ring to the wall and the ceiling are just steel and quickly rusted in place, making removal to install the pipe clamp and hose a bit tricky. Save yourself the money of something that only lasted a little over a week (as designed, straight out of the box) and either make something yourself or find a comparable assembly.

Easy enough to install though the faucet required a 3/4" female to male convertor that home doesn't stock, suggested we make one; Lowe's had the part. Two additional items to note is that the brackets are a tight fit even with WD40 - we had to use sandpaper to get them to fit together. Secondly, the shower head is noisy and not very good so be prepared to replace that part.

Faucet shown on line isn't what you get -- pix on line is out of date, mfg no longer makes it so you get polished brass handles rather than ceramic ones shown. Took hrs to try to get what was pictured online (and what I wanted!) - promised replacement handles received were plain polished brass and I got two sets! Finally got a customer service rep who went above and beyond and called the mfg only to find out that Home Depot had an out of date photo of what the mfg now provided and that I couldn't get the porcelain handles since they didn't have any. At least I got a 10% refund for my trouble but it took almost 3 hrs of calling and talking before I got that! Sloppy IT department at HD.

Just what we needed to convert our old claw foot bath tub into a shower. Although I had to go to our local home depot for an adapter because the faucet size was bigger than the hose. Also my husband likes to have a wider range of spray so we used a different shower head, which also needed an adapter because the pipe is smaller. The adapters were less than 10$. This was the cheapest conversion kit we could find, it was easy to install, and no problems yet. Free shipping only took a week to get delivered from the day I ordered.

The fixture is nice, but it didn’t come with instructions. Which made installation hard and it took longer to put together.

The price was amazing. Home depot saved me $700.

Only problem was the shrill noise from the shower head when turning the shower on. Had to replave the showet head.

It shorter than I thought it woukd beIt would be nice if the shower head was metal, Not PLASTIC!

The product was not the right size for the holes of the valve. I bought this same set up 2 years ago and the valve of the new piece was too large I had to drill the tub out with a mill grinder to get the darn thing to seat right, it was an extra three hours of work

Item needed better hardware for attaching to the wall & ceiling.Faucet connection did not fit to the water hoses, needed an adapter.Installed a hand held instead ofshower head provided. Again, the connection needed an adapter.We've only had a few weeks so don't know the long term quality.

Half the parts were missing and no instructions. So we had to go buy more parts to assemble.

The faucet takes a 1 inch connection for the supply line, did not see that specification online. Ended up having to get a couple elbow connectors that reduced down to half inch to make it work. The ceiling mount tube was too short so I had to turn it 90 degrees and improvise. Otherwise it was easy to install and works well.

Installed a couple days ago and it was pretty simple. Quality seems good. Part needed to use a different showerhead is a "reduction bushing" 1/2" MIP to 3/8" FIP (translation: 1/2-inch male pipe thread/male international pipe/male iron pipe to 3/8-inch female pipe thread/female int'l pipe/female iron pipe). I bought a brass one: ProLine BF-828NLB 877204.

The product arrived on time but it had no instructions and the faucet was defective and the shower head was too flimsy to use. However the unit had an attractive appearance.

ordered one had to return it. it leaked. ordered another one and the pieces didn't fit together properly.
