We liked the furniture when it arrived -- easy to assemble, comfortable, and it looked nice. Then it rained. The finish came off when it was exposed to the rainwater. First, some numbers that had been scratched into an armrest and painted over appeared. Worse, my patio was stained brown. After 2 rains (I live in southern California, it doesn't rain often), much of the finish was off and the wood was starting to crack. Home Depot took the set back and refunded my money, but we wasted a half day to disassemble the pieces and haul them to the closest HD in our truck. I then had my patio pressure washed, but some of the staining could not be removed. What a disaster. I would never recommend this product.

Very pleased overall. Hex bit and drill highly recommended to put everything together. Directions easy to follow. Only negative is height of arms on sofa & chairs. Practically useless at their low height.

very pretty set. only thing that would make it nicer is if the screws were not so apparent.was a steal when i got it on sale at 1/2 price. friends love it!

nice set ,very sturdy wood frame but the cushions are hard but easy clean good material.

this item was on sale so I got it. Great quality, sure beats all that metal junk floating around out there. Let see how it stands up to the seasons.

We purchased this set on sale for 50% off during a recent promotion and it wad drop-shipped to our driveway. The most difficult part of assembling this was lugging the boxes up to our Florida room. I would definitely recommend that you use a hex drive drill bit in lieu of the Allen wrench provided in the box, it will cut the assembly time down by about 2 hours. I am not handy at all, but was able to assemble the 2 chairs by myself in about 1 hour, then with one other person's assistance assembled the sofa and tables in another hour. In all a great product, and with the 50% off deal we had, you couldn't beat the value!

My wife and I were in the market for a new patio set for about a year. Each time we thought we found one we liked, we found a negative that kept us from buying. On Presidents day we happened onto the Homedepot website and found this set at 50% off. We had been looking at stores such as Restoration Hardware and Pottery Barn for our outdoor furniture, but this set really caught our eye. It looked very similar to a set that was 4X's the price at Restoration Hardware. We purchased the 6 piece patio set and 2 chaise lounges. Delivery was reletively quick ~5-8 days at most. Only problem was that the truck literally pulled up to the house and simply unloaded the set at the end of my driveway. No phone call, no warning....thankfully I work from home and could immediately move the items to my garage. I live in a great neighborhood, but still I thought it was odd that a delivery driver wouldn't have done more to make sure the packages he delivered were safe and secure. I don't blame home depot for that though, it was delivered by a private shipping company. Assembly was incrediably easy. Screws / Bolts were included. I simply added a hex driver to the end of my drill to assemble. If you use the included allen wrench it would take a significantly longer time. My wife and I placed the set at the end of our pool area in front of our fireplace. Could not be happier. We did purchase canvas covers to protect the wood / stain while not in use. We have 2 deck boxes which we store the covers in while not being used. Overall couldn't be happier with the set!

Great product. Very comfortable and pretty! I got this product on sale and don't think I could have afforded it without the sale.

This set is very durable and looks beautiful. The best part about it was that it was so easy to put together.

Ordered this on the 50% off on President Day - Boy what a deal we got. Goes beautifully in my sun room and makes the area look elegant!! This stuff is quite durable too!! I also ordered the matching ottoman's for the chair and they make relaxing super easy now!! We had such great weather this past week and have been able to enjoy this early this year!!

After looking at several other similar products, this 6 piece set was by far the best for my needs in my new sun room. It is very comfortable and assembled very easily. The set compliments the room and gives it an extra value in appearance.

I purchased this on President's Day 1/2 price-I accidentally put 2 of these in my cart and happy I did! Love the Thomasville sets-it's my#5 and #6 purchase of the brand-full sets at 2 houses.

Quality furniture, solid construction and absolutely beautiful. Love, love, love this set. Extremely comfortable, lovely cushions-can't wait for summer.

This Thomasville patio furniture is built solid and sturdy and I'm sure we will enjoy it for many years. The cushions are firm but very comfortable, Assembly is required, but the easy to follow instructions made the entire set go together is about a hour.

Assembling the first piece took awhile but after that, it was a breeze. Overall patio set was good quality for the price. I higly recommend this.

In a word - Excellent. Packed expertly, fit and finish were first rate. Assembly instructions were clear. The actual assembly of the set was easy...although it helped having an extra set of hands when assembling the chairs' leg assembly. I do have one suggestion - while the kit came with 4mm Allen wrenches, I would suggest purchasing a 4mm Hex Driver Socket using a 3/8" drive. For one thing the steel in the driver socket is going to be less prone to rounding the way the Allen key did, The 3/8" drive also allows for the use of a socket wrench, and that made the assembly go much faster.

Looks beautiful in the Florida room. Went together in a snap. Also a super bargain on President's Day sale!

We (all six of us) love this product! While intended for outdoor use, it was the missing piece to the sunroom on our new house. While others have whined about the give in the cushions, we have found them to be very supportive, especially with four kids fighting to sit on them all day long. The only issue we had was that a few of the pieces came out of the box scratched and one end-piece was definately crushed (even though we were able to hide it).

All solid wood with a nice oiled finish. Cushions are comfortable and seem like they will hold up well being outside. Assembly was fine (takes some time, but to be expected).

I really love this set that I purchased. It is well made and well worth the great deal I got on it! You can really tell it is a quality set of furniture. It came very well packaged.

Expensive for put together yourself furniture BUT I have to tell you it is pretty nice quality! The wood is a beautiful medium brown mahogany & the back cushions compliment the set with light blues, greens & browns. Again, I am not a big fan of assembly furniture but the set is well made & can easily hold solid when a person of apprx 215lbs sits on it. It took around 2 1/2 hrs to finish assembling & delivery is right to the door. Overall both my wife & I are pleased & now hope it lasts against the weather for 7-10yrs. Oh - like most mention in previous reviews the cushions are thick & the arm rests are low, not the most comfortable set I ever sat on but not bad. It's outdoor furniture, what do you expect.

At first I was apprehensive about any furniture that you had to put together: it would look cheap and it would not be of good quality. I was wrong on both counts! It looks as elegant as a complete set purchased at higher end stores and it is built very well. My husband is 205 lbs and it suits him just fine. The pieces were easy to put together but you definitely need two people and you need to lay out all the pieces, including hardware out first before you start. Takes about 4 hours to put it all together. (all 6 pieces) We did it in two days after work.

Just purchased this set for our new house and it is really nice. THought I got a good deal at $999 and now it is $100 cheaper with free shipping. You can't go wrong. Worth every penny.

Although it had to be assembled, it went together easily and I'm impressed by the quality of the materials and construction. Especially for the price.

Looks really nice! I would have given it 5 stars but 2 screws were missing, had to run to the hardware store to pick those up. Nice set though, very happy!!

looks nice..sturdy construction but considering the money very very uncomfortable,,di not buy off internet,,find a way to try it first...we hace added throw pillows and bolsters for arms..that helps some..ok for short use but not for extended tv or movie watching

This set is exactly as it is portrayed online. The pieces were well thought out for assembly and are very sturdy once put together. It looks beautiful on our patio and was an exceptional value on sale. The seat cushion is a little stiff but that is characteristic of outdoor furniture and should be expected. I gave this product 4 out of 5 since it is new and I do not yet know how it is going to perform over time and how the wood will hold up in the weather. Overall I am very very please with the product and would recommend to others.
