these are about the best thing you can have when you are doing siding especially when you're doing the whole house they are very handy I'm able to hang them up there by myself while my helper just cuts and hands me the siding

Didn't get a chance to use it. It would not adjust for 12" siding.

Works great....no problem. Allows one person to complete the siding job, no help needed.

I am returning. Won't work for 12" LP, and are made of plastic. For $80, they should be steel.

These siding gauge clamps have made the install so easy. I have saved many hours of labor by using these. I definitely recommend getting these if your going to do any siding install.

they worked OK, several times the L-P siding lap panels would slide of the setting and fall behind the holding gauge

I balked at the cost, but decided to give them a try. I was way beyond satisfied with my purchase. It made replacing some damaged siding relatively easy for this non-professional. Saved me a lot of time and effort. Would recommend them to any DIY-er or professional for that matter.

They were easy to use and made simple to put on siding and have a perfect lap everytime. Easy to put on the existing lower piece of siding and easy to remove and did not leave any marks.

A set of these makes any job go extremely fast. One person can hang siding efficiently and accurately. No special skills are needed. They grip extremely well (although I haven't tried them on beaded siding) and hold a 12 foot length without effort. Make sure your first board is dead on level, then check for level again about every 3 or 4 boards up. When I first started, I was checking for level on each board. It didn't take me long to realize I was wasting my time. Cons - They are made of plastic, so don't leave them on the ground where someone will run over them. They are expensive (but worth every cent if you have to work by yourself).

this is everything I hoped it would be. I hesitated at first but it worked just like it is meant to.

Very easy to use, however you must double check that they have not moved on you after placing siding on top of them. easy fix to double check and adjust them before nailing off siding. Basically it's like having another set of hands without paying for them. Time and money saver if your working alone or purchase a couple of sets to keep everyone moving along.

This tool makes one-man siding projects easy! It also keeps the siding straight and uniform. A Must Have!
