I was very surprised when I received the shipment of Castle Wall Blue Holly. I have had some plants shipped live in the past but this was the most well packed and arrived in the best condition by far. The root ball was properly moist and well wrapped, and the foliage was neatly contained in a very rigid carton. I have planted this holly in a patio container, at least for the winter, where I can enjoy it from inside through the windows as well as outside. In coastal South Carolina we have very mild winters so I look forward to good growth and a robust plant.

So small but arrived in great shape and seem to be doing well. 4 stars is because everything is overpriced for what you get. This is a problem in the US.

So far I am very pleased with my Castle Wall and Spire. Haven't had them very long but they have new growth and leaves!

Received it in excellent condition, and is growing at a good rate. many new leaves.

Plant arrived in good, healthy condition and was well packaged. However, the plant was received too late in the season to plant outdoors. Recommendations enclosed with the plant suggested growing the plant indoors until a suitable time next year to plant outdoors. All instructions for growing indoors were followed but this plant did not survive. This is no reflection upon the plant itself and I will most likely purchase the same plant next year in time for planting outdoors.

Beautiful deep emerald leaves. Acts as a pollinator for other female hollies - Castle Gold and Castle Spire. Grows tall (up to 8 ft) and narrow (up to 4 ft). The 4.5 inch pot is only about 8" high, so buy a larger size for instant impact in your landscape. Very hardy and works well in more shady areas. It arrived from Proven Winners meticulously packed. So there's no fear of ordering on line if needed.

I just received this Holly shrub and was 8mpressed on how well it was packaged. The shrub was very well protected and in thriving condition. I immediately planted the shrub using the ample description and planting guidelines. These guidelines are very helpful in correct placement anticipating the mature shrub. I have alway had good results from this provider. I have not lost a plant yet. I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase from this vendor.

I was looking for a plant to add to a small planter box out front. When this was shipped live to my home I was concerned about what the condition might be and was delighted to open the box and find a strong and very healthy plant. The color of the leaves is vibrant and the container made transplanting easy. I would recommend this for use in either a regular garden or if your container is large enough one of those.
