This bench is exactly what I have been looking for. I wanted a great looking bench that would be care free, and this bench is it! Although assembly is required, I managed to do it by myself, with a bit of ingenuity. The beginning of assembly is better with two people, but I was anxious to start, so I did it alone. It required balancing pieces on chairs while putting bolts in place. Once assembled, it looked great and is very sturdy. A picture I posted on social media got plenty of nice comments. It was a bit pricy, but I'm sure it will last much longer than less expensive models, so in the end I thought it was worth it.

Easy to assemble and weight will keep it grounded in high wind. Gray color of bench matched table and chairs.

Solid great-looking bench (should last a life time) but was difficult to assemble. Directions were not very clear, and I needed some assistance in putting it together. Not a one-person job. Price was somewhat expensive, but Home Depot's price was in line with other sources.

AMAZING bench! Easy to assemble and the quality will surely hold of in all weather conditions! Only downside is the high price

Great bench recommend to everyone

The Polywood Chippendale Bench is beautiful in our garden. It is also very comfortable to sit on. You have to get very close to it to see that it is not wood. It is in a spot in our garden that gets wet due to the sprinkler so it was the perfect choice.

The bench is built well enough, and looks good in our backyard. It did come with some scratches on the front edge of the seat, but that said, for having very few nuts and bolts, it was very hard (for 2 people) to assemble. Most of the holes did not line up and it took a lot of finagling to get the fasteners together.

Kind of expensive, but very nice. Only complaint is the seating surface buckles when you sit down. When you get up, the "imprint" stays. talked to Polywood and they made me return the bench to Home Depot. Got a new one and same happens. Need a brace for midway between each side and the middle brace...

We opened the box, laid out all the pieces, read the instructions and got started. First coulple of pieces went together pretty well, but after that, it went down hill. There’s no way on earth you could put this bench together with the little tool they give you. My husband is a cabinet maker and a wiz at anything having to do with building and assemly and he had a hard time, even when using his electric screwdriver. And make sure you have someone to help, it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to put it together by yourself. It would have been a snap if the pieces lined up like they were intented but we spent way too much time and muscel lining the pieces up to get the screws in correctly. Once we got it together, it looks very nice and is a heavy piece that will last.

Gorgeous bench that looks like wood from a distance but hopefully will not weather or rot. Very easy to assemble. Own other polywood furniture which I have loved for a few years now. Very easy to clean too

Quality not as good as Berlin Gardens products for about the same price. Won’t order again

Beautiful bench! Exactly what I was looking for. Looks great on my front porch. I get many compliments on how great it looks. Easy to assemble but does require 2 people. Thought it was expensive but well worth it!

It was simple to put together and no extra tools are needed, it will never rot and it looks great!
