The Step 2 bench/ storage chest has performed in our son's bedroom for 20 years and still looks like new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my bench about ten years ago. I LOVE it. I put some cushions on it and lay with my feet over the end. I read, sleep. It looks almost the same as when I bought it, even though I live in a 4 season state and I leave it out all winter. There is no cracking or warping, just maybe the lightest change in color after ten years. I'm not sure even of that! It is under a tree so is in shade except in the early morning and late afternoon. It is easiest to have it sent direct to your house and takes a couple minutes to put together.

Easy to put together, sturdy. Love the neutral colors and storage space. Great for tucking away those summer blues. Does not latch shut so it's perfect for my kids to play on and in. Shipped fast in 2 big boxes.

The patio bench is just what we wanted and needed and we couldn't be happier with it. It, along with outdoor carpeting from Home Depot, makes our once ugly patio seem like an added room to our house. We are now enjoying our patio, which we have not been able to do before. Ordering on HomeDepot.com worked perfectly and all Home Depot employees we contacted could not have done more to help us. Thank you.

This bench also coordinated well with his Step 2 Captains Bed. The storage area was large enough to hold all his toys and the seat is comfortable. It's very sturdy and was easy to put together.

I like the bench, but i wish the lid had some form of hinge. It falls off every time i open and i have to squeeze it back in to place.

I purchased this bench around 10 years ago and it has not faded in the direct sun next to our pool. Yesterday I was pressure washing and left the pressure washer next to it and the heat of the motor burned a hole into the front! I am so mad at myself!! Now they are sold out :-(

I bought this bench for storage of water guns and sprinklers. It turns out my kids would rather take off the seat and sit inside the storage area, so I guess there’s an added entertainment value :) The bench is sturdy enough and very easy to put together. One thing to note, the storage area is NOT waterproof. There are cut outs along the back where it meets the seat. Great for safety, since the interior screams kid hiding spot, just not waterproof if that’s what you’re looking for.

Let me say first that I do like this bench - now that it's delivered and assembled. It's delivered in two packages but only one was picked up for delivery. It took over a week for someone to actually check into the missing box. The assembly was another issue. The pre-drilled holes are non-existent. Thank goodness I have a drill to put them in myself. But once I got it together, it it really great and looks nice on our patio.

Bought this to put on my apt. patio to store my plant soil in. Wish the lid was on a hinge and all pieces had numbers/letters on as shown in assembly directions

I have (two) of these beautiful storage benches. I have sent one to each of my 3 sons & one for a Wedding gift to one grandson. I think that tells you how much I like them. I have bought (five) of the Step Stools that have stopped making them (again). I really wish you would bring them back again. I would buy more. I use one outside, and one inside.

Love the product. Only issue I had was that the directions use numbers while the product is identified by letters.

This is a sturdy, easy to clean product. I love the storage space it provides, plus it keeps all of the toys dry. The only hiccup is that the top has to fit just right or it slides off. If you open the lid too far it can also slide off. I think for the price and the material, with easy installation it does the job. I am happy with it overall.

Looks great. Comfortable. Use it on our front porch. Nice storage. Easy to assemble. All plastic, but great design makes it sit very solid.

This is a very sturdy, well made product. I ordered 2 of them, and love them, they hold all of my grandsons back yard balls, bats, etc ! The seat is roomy enough for 2 people as stated, and this bench looks great and matches my grandson's playhouse as well,also a step 2 product !

This bench is perfect for storing my grandson’s outdoor toys. I also love the look of it in my flower garden. I would highly recommend it.

This is the second one I have purchased. Easy to put toether, sturdy, good storage space, comfortable and reasonably priced.

This bench is exactly what we needed for our outdoor play yard . We can store balls and toys neatly plus have a comfortable place to sit

The jury is still out on this product. I bought it just before Xmas and will not use it until spring. However it was very easy for two women to assemble it and it is really cute. It's on our deck with snow on it. There is a little water inside the box so it's not completely waterproof.

This is a great bench. We have a small outdoor patio and needed storage for patio furniture cushions. It is a nice addition to the space and large enough extra seating. Easy assembly. I highly recommend this product.
