I was initially quite excited by this product. Easy to install, excellent brightness, and great dimmer response, but then the two units failed within 5 days of each other after only 4 months of use. The failure is shown in the photo; at full voltage, the LED outputs are barely perceptible. I have electronics background, so I replaced the dimmer switch and verified voltage range at the units, but no change. My hope is these two units came from a bad lot and that the replacement units will not experience a similar failure.

I bought this because it was within my cheap budget and it had a nice easy installation video showing how to set it up. I had the light installed within 5 minutes. It was very easy and it looks great. As others have mentioned, the dome is plastic but you can't tell once the light is on. Happy with my purchase and would recommend it to others.

Rapidly flickers after being turned on for a few minutes. As nice as it may seem. Dont buy it. If you are looking into this light fixture style. Just buy a regular one with the thumb screws for $10 less and throw in some LED bulbs

These lights are great, particularly for the money. The globe kinds of feels cheep as it’s lightweight plastic, but when it’s on the light you can’t tell and they are really bright at their brightest, and dimming works great too. I put them up in my basement that I’m finishing. They’ll look better when I have a ceiling behind them, but I couldn’t resist trying them. Again, they’re great for the money.

Product was ready to install. Came with installation bracket and connectors. LED was bright for my area.

After a few months the light did not work. I took off the cover and the LEDS were actually on but very dim. So much for the 46 year estimated usage! See photo.

Looks good. Used in laundry room. Puts out a lot of light.

Easy install

This is a great light fixture. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because it was only installed about two weeks ago. The bonus of this light is that it doesn't require bulbs, and the 50,000 hours it will render continues light. Time will tell, but the price was right and it couldn't be easier to install.

I never write reviews but thus lught is great I git ond for the hall then I went and purchased another one for the laundry room. I like them a lot, very happy!

Nice, while it lasted. This lightweight fixture was priced right and puts out a pleasant warmer light similar to a incandescent bulb. But after 12 months or so, it started to annoyingly flicker/pulsate. This is a common issue with LED's. Also of note, these aren't under Home Depot's Hampton Bay brand anymore. These are now under their Commercial Electric brand with the exact same SKU. It has a 5-year warranty, so hopefully I can exchange it.

Easy to install. Bright light. But started flickering a lot after about 18 months. Home Depot declined to replace.

I did not like that it was all plastic

Not really a critique of the product, but I wish I had realized the "temperature" qualities because I would have preferred a less warm hue from the lighting to match the other lighting in the room.

This light replaced an old circline fluorescent fixture in my bathroom that really didn't like to stay lit without flickering even when I replaced the bulb. Since a ballast was going to be more than a new fixture I opted to replace it. The original fixture was builder's grade, but a little more solid than this replacement. This mounts with a central arbor versus mounting two screws into the junction box, so it can tend to rotate as you install the dome. After replacing - wow what a difference. This is bright and steady high quality light compared to the fluorescent.

good price and easy install

Don't buy this integrated LED fixture. Buy a fixture that uses screw-in bulbs and put LED bulbs in it. The integrated LED fixture is a huge pain to install if you have to keep doing it over and over. Get a regular fixture and just change out the bulbs when they fail. This integrated LED fixture didn't even last five years before I had to replace it. A regular fixture will last forever.

The product was perfect in form, fit and function and looks awesome

Was an easy install. Very bright. I didn’t realize it was all plastic when I saw it in the store, but still looks nice, matches our newer ceiling fans. We will be ordering more of these!

Quality of light is great and at a great value. Brightness is just right and its LED. Placed in hallway of my home and looks great! Oil Rubbed Bronze finish matches rest of decor in home.

Easy to install and much brighter than the lights i had there. Very stylish too.
