Steel so soft it fractured and mushroomed after 3 posts
I rented a jackhammer from Home Depot to use this driver to set 3 Oz-Post (4x4). I had the recommended spacer as well. After 3 posts I tried to remove the driver from the jackhammer and it would not come out. I took the jackhammer back to Home Depot and the guys in the rental department actually had to take the end apart to get the driver out. It had fractured clear through, then mushroomed so much at both ends of the fracture site that it was wedged into the jackhammer solidly. To their credit, the guys at Home Depot rental did not charge me for this (even though I had not purchased the optional damage waiver...last time I do that.) Thanks Home Depot, but Oz-Post has a bunch of low-quality drivers out there that they need to recall, judging from some of the other reviews.

Used to drive the Oz-posts
The product worked like a dream. With the jackhammer, this tool and the oz-post putting in our posts was a breeze

Low grade steel
The driver is made from low quality steel. The steel is so soft that the end inside the jackhammer mushroomed so much after use that the driver could not be removed from the tool.

One of the worst product I ever purchased.
Bad product. How can a steel tool, 1 1/8" dia thick, breaks into two? I used a 35lb jack hammer as it was designed for. For your information this would be the second "Oz-Hammer Driver" in line. The first one broke about 15 days earlier. Really bad product. It caused total upset to my project time line.

Does what it's made for
In conjunction with the recommended spacer, it works as advertised.

Performed as advertised
It's unfortunate that one must purchase this piece of hardware to drive the Oz Posts with a jackhammer. Check with your rental company to see if they might have one they can rent with the hammer. Aside from the one-time use it received, it performed as it should, driving nearly 40 Oz Posts into some very hard Texas clay soil.

    broken driver
The driver fits the spacer okay making it easier to pound in the Oz Stakes. The driver broke in half after 8 posts were driven in. We were using a small one may demolition hammer to drive the stakes and striking straight down per the instructions when the driver sheared in half.
