I ordered three of these awnings for two doors and a sliding glass door. We had an unusally strong wind storm and it ripped one of them down. This may have been from my lazyiness during install - I failed to fully tighten the set scrws iin the support arm where it gets inserted into the 'deluxe' casting bracket as they call it. I was able to order another set of brackets from the manufacturer in Maine. Great customer service. Shipped in a few days. I am prepared to clear snow from these awnings for fear of collapse. I love the look of them and they re SO nice to get under during rainy weather while fumbling for keys and juggling groceries. Fyi - they are Made in USA. Imagine that? That makes me feel better then sending dollars to Chinah~

We have purchased 3 of these canopies for our facility. They are light weight and are very simple to install. The hardware has always been supplied and they fit together nicely. They are very sturdy and are appealing to the eye. Butch

I purchased this awning for an outside entry door to provide a sheltered area for the entry door from the elements. This is a good quality awning that uses materials designed to withstand being outdoors for years. The awning canopy and its support frame pieces are all aluminum construction and mount together securely. Stainless steel hardware is used to hold the awning assembly together. All mounting hardware for the awning is included except for caulking that needs to be applied between the mounting bar and the outside surface of a home that the mounting bar attaches to support the awning to prevent water from running down between the awning and where it attaches to a home. I chose the light almond color to match the color of my home and the color is a very close match and the awning overall looks great and functions well. I did not choose the model with side wings because I did not want to risk providing a wind sheltered area under the canopy that may invite wasps or other insects to build nests. The assembly instructions require a minimum skill level especially for a first time assembling and installing an awning. The canopy assembly would be less confusing if the manufacturer placed a small "this side up" label at the center of each canopy section that would not need to be removed if it were hidden by the center rafter. The installation instructions were good except that the top trim piece did not have holes in it to receive the 3 sheet metal screws that correspond with the holes in the bottom of the mounting bar to secure the awning to the mounting bar. Ended up drilling one pilot hole at a time into the top trim piece followed by installing a sheet metal screw after each hole was drilled using the clearance holes in the mounting bar as a template during step 2C of the installation instructions.

Good product for the money. Not really easy installation. Were missing plastic anchors for installation over cinder blocks. Just screws !

Looks exactly like the picture. Was very pleased with the assembly and installation process.

I bought the 48" wide x 84" canopy. Instructions are ok, not best, but with a little common sense the canopy went together very easy. Need two people to hang it to be able to lock front into wall bracket. Need to lift canopy higher than brace height, so it snaps in grove. Over all the canary is light weight and easy to do in a day. Use large picnic table with blanket to keep from scratching the paint while putting together.

STURDY AND GOOD DESIGN. GREAT FOR BLOCKING OUT UNWANTED SUN AND GREAT FOR KEEPING RAIN OFF THE DOOR. EASY TO ORDER ONLINE AND FREE SHIPPING TOO.

It is very functional, and we have had two hard rains since installation. There was some difficulty lining up holes for the screws during assembly. This larger unit requires two people to install on the house.

This product has enchanced my front door entrance as well as protect my door from the weather. Initially, I didn't think the color would match the shutters, but to my surprise it do. Since I had it installed I have gotten so many compliments. I love my awning.

Needed something to just keep me dry why fumbling for keys on rainy days. Bought 48" for above my backdoor & a 60" for above my garage door. The 60" also gives my some coverage for rainy/snowy day grillin'! Awings arrived quickly (4 days). I didn't open the boxes until Saturday AM, then found the suppor bars were missing in both. I called cusomer service (Home Depot) got a call back on Monday from the manufacturer, had missing parts in a few days. Did push the project back. Assesmbly of the 1st took about 1.5 hours by myself. 2nd took about 1/2 hour. Happy with the quality. Service for the missing parts was good,

A solid product.... and I managed to assemble and install it myself (though I would advise 2 people for the installation). It would be nice if there was a video posted of the assembly process though.

the awning scratches EASY, especially when you have to put it all together. be careful and lay it on cardboard and a tarp. please include touch up paint.

The burgundy looks good. Installation was not bad. Although some screws need to self thread into sheet metal which took some effort. I assembled it in the house, and needed a second person to help hang it in place.

Over all a nice product. Best for two person assembly.

packaged securely. all parts were there in perfect condition. assembly and installation took me 2 hrs. two people suggested.

took a little time to assemblebut not difficult.when installing the support rods to the wall mount brackets i would recomend drilling a hole through the bracket and rod.install a nut and bolt through it,the set screws they supply wont hold in a wind. other than that its a pretty nice product

The instructions for the assembly for this product are lacking for ease of assembly.

I purchase this awning the price was right and the quality plus everyone in the comment gave it good ratings. I received it and there were many parts and the instructions were not very straight forward. I would have to cut pieces. This is great for someone with more or less construction or a house builder. If you purchase this before and did it yourself that's great. I did returned it to the store. But I still sure that the quality and price was great. I still recommend to those who are willing to take a challenge.

The overall appearance is good but the fit of the outside bars are hard to work with. How ever when completed it looks just fine. The support bars should be 4 inches longer in order to work better for adjustment from building.

purchased 3 of these 2 years ago only needed to replace one form someone hitting it it was an exact match so glad you still carry product.

The awnings are sturdy metal and I believe will last a long time. Assembly instructions are not the best but give you the info needed to get the job done. The only problem I had was that one of the 2 boxes did not come with the required support rods. Yhis was disappointing but a quick call to home Depot and the needed parts arrived in a couple of days .

my back ground in construction made this very to assemble and install might be a little harder for average home owner

This canopy was just as described. It is installed and looks great.

I bought a 7 foot awning and modified it to fit a 6 foot 6 inch opening. This the second one I've customized and it worked great. This product is well worth the money invested to solve snow and rain on entrance doors and door walls and of course windows.
