We ordered the nickel version of this fixture but never got farther than unpacking the main portion of the fixture before deciding to return it. The design is nice and it had a decent weight to it. However, the finish looked like it was applied in a factory that had a wind storm going on inside at the same time. I know that sounds funny but it was covered in numerous small imperfections, nicks, and scratches. This was not acceptable to us. As we stared at it, we couldn't understand how that could have happened, but regardless, back it went and we didn't trust that the quality control would be better on a second try.

It is a good quality item. I returned it because the bronze color did not match my faucets. The product looks very sturdy and solid. The glass is heavy and can be put up or down.

This light is very nice, and looks nice whether hung sconces facing up or sconces facing down, however it is larger than it appears, so beware if you have a smaller medicine cabinet or area, you may want to check measurements first before buying. Quality seems great and installation went easily. Overall, a very nice piece.

A great light fixture that is smart looking at a great price.

The small "ball nuts" that secure the fixture to the wall were not all drilled and threaded to act as nuts. A patent manufacturing defect. The warranty is through the manufacturer who does not accept email or phone calls.

The light looks nice above the medicine cabinet in our bathroom. I would've appreciated more detailed installation instructions. Screwing the finials onto the screws was really tough. You may want a second set of hands to help out as you're completing the installation.

Not deep enough (e.g., coming out from the wall) to illuminate well over the traditional "on the wall" bathroom cabs. For inset cabs, or those who use framed mirrors over their sinks, this works fine and looks very good. Can be hung with shades facing up or down.

The light was fairly simple to install and looks just like I had hoped.

The metal has a brushed bronze finish. One of the glass pieces had a flaw but it could be hidden by turning that side to the wall. The vertical measurement of the backplate is exactly four inches so it doesn't cover the rim of a round, plastic, old-work electrical box.

Awesome fixture - looks great and is a great value. Installation box size was limited so we had to do quite a bit to the existing electrical box before this one would fit.

This lamp is the same (in a different finish) as one I bought 2 years ago for another bath. It looks beautiful, is easy to keep clean, provides LOTS of light. I assume it was easy to install, but had our contractor do that, so don't know for sure.

Our contractor put the light fixture up and appears he had no trouble with it. I think 100W bulbs in each light is a little too bright for me, I'll probably go with 60W in each light as our bathroom fan came with a nice light as well. The bronze color goes very well with all our other fixtures. The fixture itself is quite attractive. Very happy with my choice.

This item arrived early. It comes in one, long box. It did NOT come with any installation instructions. However, my husband was able to figure out how to install it. It does not come with lightbulbs, but one of the great features of this light is that it takes standard sized bulbs. It is a large light. We have a double sink vanity, and it is long enough to light the entire area. It is a very solid and heavy piece which makes it look more expensive. The metal arm that holds the lights is not one, long piece like it appears in the picture. Actually, there are two metal bars. If you look really closely at the enlarged photo online you can see that the very center of the light is open. Two metal arms actually come out from the center and one goes to the left and one goes to the right. Threre are two lights attached to each metal bar. The open spot in the center is small, and it does not change the appeal of the light. The glass light covers are not clear, and you cannot see the lightbulbs through the glass. This gives it a nice, polished look because even with the light on, you still see the light itself instead of that naked bulb look. We have a large bathroom, and I like bright lighting. We installed the lights facing down, and the lighting is fantastic. The light is directed right over the sink making it very easy to see to apply make-up, but there is still enough light to light up the entre room. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Love these lights in our new bathroom. We used 2 sets and both are well made, with a nice design. They were shipped quickly and received with no problems.

Installation was a bit tricky because our junction box in the wall was vertically rectangular and the light fixture's base is horizontally rectangular. As well the wall plate that goes over the junction box was round. BUT, we got it to work with a little more elbow grease. Lights look great. Shades are heavy. We use Bright White incandescent bulbs and it is very bright. Shades don't hinder the flow of light, but they are also hung high on the wall. Can hang it upside down and have the light reflect off the ceiling, too. Tried that and didn't lose that much light doing so, either.

My poor husband and I went through about 15 lights, trying to find a light which would fit our two bathrooms - for some reason, the builder located the lighting fixtures really close to the ceiling and, therefore, most of the lighting fixtures (the styles which I liked) were NOT able to fit Finally, we gave up and purchased this light fixture - while it is not EXACTLY the style i really wanted, it is very stylish and looks very nice in our two bathrooms - gives lots of light (the other light fixtures I previously had in the bathrooms were so close to the ceiling, because of the restrictions we had in installing them, most of the light was shining on the ceiling and NOT into the bathroom's interior space) - this light fixture is flexible, in that you can hang it "up" or hang it "down" (we hung it down, as we did not have enough room/space to hang it "up" in our bathrooms)

This is very well made and engineered. I especially like the fact that instead of 3 screws to hold the glass globes in place, a threaded ring locks the globes in place very securely. The finish has a few coppery-bronze highlights, but mostly is a dark brownish black, hiding the bronze highlights. Could be a quality control issue.
