Was excited to receive these cabinets for my new home garage remodel. Then after unboxing everything the excitement diminished and turned to remorse. Out of all 9 pieces only 2 of the upper cabinets were not damaged. Im not saying cosmetic damage this was structural, on both of the tall cabinets the bottoms were damage and one The metal lip was bent over the bottom of the door so bad you could not even open it without bending it out of the way, both inside the floor was pulling away from the sides. Drawers had dents in them one folded in 3/4 of an inch on the top rail. Tops and backs of all 3 lower cabinets were dented and the welds were pulling apart. One of the uppers was bent out of square and the little pneumatic lifts would not hold the door open. I was really looking forward to these to complete my custom garage build and even went with the Performance Plus for the heavier gauge steel and extra room. I might be willing to try out a different set of the New Age Performance Plus or Pro (I guess I will have to spend more to get acceptable cabinets). Probably try ordering straight from New Age next time.

Starting off with the delivery, placed the order night of 9/24 and it was delivered on 9/28 with an awesome driver that assisted me with getting it up a long driveway and into my garage. It is packed into a total of four boxes, two small that contain the bamboo butcher block and then two large 8' tall boxes that contain one half each of the set all packed into the tall end cabinets. All was nicely packed and padded to avoid damage with which I had no dents, dings or scratches. Installation was straight forward and pretty easy, I was able to install with minimal tools and only my wife and two young daughters helping. Total time was around 6 hours as I took my time. After bolting all together and then each cabinet to the studs of the wall there was no wiggle at all, very sturdy. Very happy with it and I had thought long about 20 or 18 gauge steel, glad I went with the 20 gauge as my money went farther and got more. You really can't go wrong with the Performance Plus Series 10-piece set.

I really wish I could give this product 5-stars. It has so much potential. However, as so many have mentioned in the reviews, I too experienced numerous issues with build quality. One of the locker cabinets was completely dented -- doors, inside frame, and all edges were badly damaged. One of the bottom cabinets were also heavily damaged. When I called Home Depot, they had no issues replacing the parts, but informed me that it would take up to 3 weeks to "process," followed by another 1-2 weeks to ship. Are you kidding me? What can possibly take so long to process in today's day in age? The quality issues didn't end there. As I installed the feet, moved the individual units in place in the garage, and hung up the wall units, I noticed they all had at least some minor dent or damage. Furthermore, not all of the edges line up perfectly, making doors on the cabinets look slightly crooked. Nowhere is this more apparent than in the wall shelves where they visually look like they aren't level as a result (I have confirmed with a level that they are in fact perfectly straight). You also see this with the locker doors, where the handles don't line up as a result of these uneven doors. The pictures and video make this seem like a strong, tough, durable product made of STEEL. That couldn't be further from the truth and the "heavy-gauge steel" used is closer to flimsy aluminum sheets welded together with the minimum amount of material possible. They mention that the Performance Plus line features steel that is 65% thicker than the regular Performance series. I'd hate to see the stability / durability of those. The doors and drawers (everything you see in black or blue in the photos) are in fact decently sturdy, but the actual frame and structure (the silver part) is poorly constructed with cheaper materials. Had I not already taken my whole garage apart in preparation for the arrival of this unit, I would have returned it. It may sound like nitpicking, but for the price, I really expected this to be a better quality product. In fact, that, at the end of the day, is my biggest complaint with this product -- it's honestly overpriced for the overall quality. I found it on sale ($550 off regular price) and when I complained to HD I got a $350 refund. Even at $900 off retail price, I still think I paid too much. See photos of the issues attached. Note that Home Depot only allows me to upload 6 photos. I have plenty others I would have liked to upload. A few pros: - It was very well packaged, arriving secure on several pallets. Delivery company was great. - Home Depot customer service was excellent. They agreed to expedite my return and I got my replacement unit within 10 days. - It looks pretty. The exterior is shiny, and glossy, and from far away looks really cool. If that's all you care about, then this might be for you. - The shelves are surprisingly strong and well-constructed. The individual cabinets and lockers alone are wobbly. Once the shelves get put in, the unit is sturdier. - The metal top is also pretty sturdy. You can't tell from the images, but it is a thick piece of wood butcher block (about 1.5" thick) wrapped in sheet metal.

Delivered on time and everything that I expected it to be. Deliverary driver sat the containers in my garage for me. These are pretty hefty cabinets. I did the install myself and it was relatively simple. It took me a little longer due to some custom framing that I had to do because I didn't have a wall that was a flat continuous 156" As some others have said, it would save lots of time with another person. The cabinets were packaged great although one wall cabinet had a small dent in the door. The door actually came off another but I was able to reinstall it. One tip, be sure to remove the plugs in the holes where the cabinets are to be bolted together whether you connect them or not. Failure to do this will leave a gap.

Very pleased overall, glad I got preassembled cabinets as they were all welded nicely and square, paint and finish excellent. Few small glitches - having trouble adjusting wall cabinet doors so they don't touch when fully open also had several holes that were blocked when welded and had to drill out.

even with 2 pieces damaged and having to send one back, I love these cabinets.

Great Cabinets, Look good well built. Some holes didn't match up but worked through it.

I'm very happy with the product and if needed more garage storage would buy them again

This Product is GARBAGE !!! POOR QUALITY, opened 5 pieces ,4 were damaged,scratched, didn't open the rest , returned them. Should have listen to other similar reviews. Lousy welds,and the chrome strip on front of the large cabinet was put on about a 1/4 inch to low creating it pull apart on the bottom when closing the door. Be Aware, Ed L.

Nice product bought on sale. Came damaged but kept them anyway. Delivery was ok.

First delivery was damaged and totally wrong cabinets. Didn't find out until after the boxes that were extremely heavy were carried all the way down to my basement. Had to reorder the correct ones, which took forever. I get the new ones and they are also damaged, but at this point. Im not going to go through the process again. So I am going to deal with it. Very disappointed with Home Depot. They have always displayed excellent service and product in the past.

Great quality with a great look. Took a while to put together but well worth it. Tons of room in them.

Except for a wrong piece del'vd (was exchanged for correct one) and Fed Ex rough handling of stainless steel counter top (that also had to be replaced and reordered) and new one had some dings and dents also, but we needed to be done with this project. It's a great looking addition to our newly painted and epoxy floor garage. Also the top cabinets open real conveniently upward.

These Cabinets were just what I was looking for. I ordered them online on a Sunday and had them by Thursday of that same week. The cabinets came on two pallets and where well packaged. I am really glad that I went with the heavier gauge steel. There is so much storage in these cabinets, I still haven't filled them up.

Big and heavy duty, comes on a pallet that is about 8 feet tall including the pallet. I was not able to have the delivery rolled into the garage I have a 7 foot door opening. Was not an issue the driver was able to put in the driveway. It was delivered about 10 days early. there was some shipping damage as most people said. It was minor scuffing of the paint and a few small dents. I called Home Depot to report the damage they were willing to bend over backwards and do anything necessary to make it right. I purchased 2 sets and over all it was so minor I chose to get a few bucks back on the deal. After installing everything and loading all of my stuff I must say I am impressed. Good looking and functions very well even with a heavy load. Hardware adjustment were easy everything lines up and moves smooth as silk.

Horrible experience! First I did not set it up right away I had epoxy floors put in A/C really gonna be a great garage. Excited to get my cabinets in finally I started unpacking them, every cabinet was damaged in shipping in some way. I called Home Depot they said it had been more than 3 months so I was on my own with the manufacturer.. Stop here and call the manufacturer I'll wait... Yep you could not get anyone on the phone... send them and email I'll wait... really no response now imagine if you had a return problem. So I figure i will have to live with the dents and scratches. OK, as I set up the units 2 units have manufacturing defects in the slots that hold the shelves up but you say there is a lifetime warranty great so call them..... send them and email through the warranty department... call Home Depot have them call and get contact info and a special claim number ad that to a new email... NOTHING.. OH NICE STAINLESS STEEL TOP 2 months later the cheap thin metal laminate that is not even laminated to the wood work top crinkles and bubbles. PLEASE unless you love buyers remorse and anger every-time and new problem arises like a shock going out on the pop up door wall cabinet that come down on your head... DO NOT BUY!!!! had to buy new shocks from ebay to fix brand new cabinets BTW total trash!

Overall I was very pleased with this purchase. Had a hard time getting hold of anyone by phone or email but managed to get stainless steel work top exchanged for bamboo. Delivery was good but one tall cabinet was damaged on the bottom. The one that arrived on a pallet was fine but the other wasn't and bottom was dented and bent. Didn't want the hassle of complaining so I'll live with it. Still a great purchase and very happy.

I arranged the cabinets with both tall cabinets next to each other so a vice could be mounted on the base cabinet at the open end. When I installed the door handles I noticed they were about 3 inches higher on one cabinet. I switched one door on each cabinet so the handles would be staggered. It looks OK that way. Probably would not have been noticed if I put one tall cabinet on each end. Two of the base cabinets had welds broken and dents at the bottom. Not really too noticeable. Several scratches in the paint on the sides of the base cabinets, can't be seen after installation. I would have returned these cabinets if I had paid the full price but they were on sale so I guess I got what I paid for. These cabinets are not too bad for the price. Fairly heavy gauge metal makes them sturdy enough.

Very seldom do you receive a product that is a better value than you were expecting and this performance plus hit the bell with me.

Came well packed. Minor dent near floor on large cabinet.Home Depot was great. Had to update the hinges on large cabinet. Also raise the door (drilled new holes) It all worked out. Cabinets look great.

Solid product, heavy gauge sheet metal. Most of the holes for the mounting feet had paint, weld splatter or something else making feet installation cumbersome. I ran a clearance tap and it was OK but that step should not be necessary. Interesting, IF you were to use the tall cabinets as a locker, the lock would not work as the lock latches onto a shelf. I won't be using it as a locker, so not a problem for me. With the holidays, haven't completed installation, but one cabinet appears out of square although level on ground, we shall see. Be forewarned, this came on a pallet with other cabinets inside the large storage cabinet. Not a one person job to move. Unlike others who have commented on damage, other than the one twisted unit, which may straighten out once I have shelves installed, no damage. Speaking of shelves, looks like that may be a 2 person job, one to install while the other pushes the sheet metal back in to engage the tabs

our first delivery was severly damaged and had to be returned. the second deliver also had some deficiencies but we were able to hide them by covering the side of the cabinet In additon the second deliver has one "arm" from the overhead cabinets with doors that lift up that is defective... I just have not had time to chase it down. I do prefer to receive undamaged products. The look style and quality of the cabinets is excellet. The worker need to be careful not to make scratches and holes in the stanless steel. Even if it is in the garage we do not want it damaged.

The 9-piece set was like custom designed for the space I had in my garage. Put that together with a 20% off sale and free shipping and I was sold. All the mostly pre-assembled components arrived on two palates that the delivery guy was willing to schlep up my very steep driveway right into the garage. Got to admit that they have the packaging/shipping technology down pretty well. Everything arrived in perfect condition, except for one of the lockers which had a folded in front frame that I was able to straighten out. Asembly is pretty straight forward. Instructions are minimal but again this isn't rocket surgery. The one odd thing was that one of the three wall cabinets had a different set of holes for the mounting screws on the back and no holes on the sides to attach it to another wall cabinet or locker. Finish quality was a little uneven on the doors. Some look better than what you'll see on your car, while other doors have a pronounced orange peel effect. Great small touches like the magnets on the locker doors to hold them shut and the foam mats that line the drawers of the two 5-drawer cabinets. Only major complaint is that the lockers need to have a shelf placed at a specific location in order for the lock to work. Very well made. These are going to last a very long time.

Happy with cabinets but the stainless countertop, which shipped separately, was full of dings and dents.
