This heater works well, heats my basement well. Easy to install. Con: Wish the fan had a thermostat so it would stay on after the heating element kicks off to cool the heater and make use of the last of the heat.

It’s too bad this wasn’t included with the heater. Can’t install without it

Fits wall cavity nicely and securely houses an electric wall mounted space heater.

Great garage heater Worried about longevity though as Cadet has a history of producing defective heaters. Of interest -I tried to pick up the heater direct fromCadet as I work 5 minutes from them.was happy to purchase though HD just wanted it sooner.The company did not want to speak with me. I hope this heater does not burn up like their others

Great heater, I replaced my old one which was over 30 years old with the Cadet. My workshop is 20 x 20 and it heats faster and warmer than the old one.

This is well worth the money. My husband, who installed the wall heater using this can, says it fit perfectly and made it MUCH easier to install the heater itself.

This is a metal can, painted black. Since there was no physical damage from shipping, there really isn't a whole lot to comment on.

It's the one you need for your NLW

Not much to rate since these cans are needed to mount the two heater assemblies I purchased at the same time. They were easy to install and received without damage. Since it was a retrofit, I had to modify my wiring since the old units were fed from the bottom and the new ones in the upper left.

As expected. Fits perfect

No frills wall heater. Installed it myself. Works fine. Warms my office. It's not very smart as it just goes and doesn't use any kind of thermostat, so if you leave it on when you leave, it will just keep on going. Fan is always on. Sound doesn't bug me really. Overall fine.

The heat only blows out one side. The fan is not in the middle so if the heater is installed a few feet from a wall, it only heats up the wall and cannot circulate around the room. The manual does not say that it has to be installed in the middle of a wall in order to heat a room.

Basic wall heater but works great as excepted and fit perfectly within the specs outlined.

does the job. why $50 for a metal box? guess some people's kids need college money

As I noted in my other review of the NLW heater unit I purchased when I purchased this wall can: the packaging was horrible and the can was bent requiring reshaping to use. For the cost of the heater unit, it would be nice if the wall can were included and the packaging were better.

Backbox fit perfect. Nice quality plan to buy one more
