Rating between 1 to 10, this shed is a 10. Most liked is the size inside is exactly what I wanted. Arrow shed is exactly what I anticipated.Better than expected for 12x17 at a cost of $2300.00 including the flooring. Assenbly of the Shed is not completed yet. I will complete the assembly sometime this week.

Great Storage Shed
The shed took 2 days to assemble and the end product was outstanding. To comply with local codes a wood base was created out of pressure treated wood. With the previous shed, this type of base lasted 22 years as did the shed.

Very poor materials, bad customer service from Arrow, Garbage!!!
So after reading multiple reviews of this shed both good and bad I decided to the trade off of saving some money on buying this kit was worth it from the negatives I'd read about. Most of the negatives were how difficult it was to install, how many pieces there are etc. I wasn't worried about that and after receiving it I can say yes it is a lot of work to construct but most mechanically inclined people can figure it out no problem. The materials are very thin especially the support structure. After getting about 80% of the shed completed I walked into my back yard to see the shed that I've spent thousands of dollars on and lots of man hours to be crumbled up pile of scrap. (See Pictures). I cannot stress to all potential buyers to please do yourself a favor and spend your hard earned money elsewhere. There was no major storm, tornado or hurricane that caused this. The weather was beautiful with a light breeze. This shed is made with the cheapest and thinnest materials possible that crumbled under its own weight. Companies used to care about the quality of products they put their name on but not anymore. I contacted Arrow Sheds directly to see if they would make the situation right. I received terrible customer service in the name of "that's our policy". I emailed them the pictures and explained the situation they only thing they offered me was to purchase the pieces that were damaged (which would be 70% of the parts). They wouldn't offer any sort of refund/ exchange or even to send out replacement pieces to fix the damage. It saddens me that this is how companies treat customers nowadays. Companies used to take pride in the products they put their name on, but long gone are those days. Customer service and Quality have been replaced with "Policy" and the largest profits possible. Companies spend more money on marketing trying to sell us inferior products instead of actually producing quality products that would sell themselves. Now I'm stuck with this scrap metal in my back yard that I'm going to have to pay to haul away to the dump. Again please do not buy a sorry excuse for a shed from Arrow. Not only is the material poor, with the amount of work involved in assembling this erector set you can use stronger materials with the same amount of effort and a little more cost.

Assembly instructions are confusing and difficult to understand, we hired Home Depot pro referral help and they had a horrible time figuring them out. Materials are thin/flimsy for the price. Once completed looks good, its serving its purpose but if you want something more sturdy buy something else!

If you have little construction experience don't try this. The manual at times is difficult to understand but must be followed closely. The material is very flimsy and sharp. The building becomes sturdy nearing completion. The fasteners are Phillips screws and square nuts. Only install on concrete.

Instructions were hard to understand. Small missing parts.....very small screws that had to be replaced. Extra parts. Flimsly material that dented very easily. Side door had to be reconfigured with a few home made and/or redesigned to fit. It was a good price......but very flimsy. We will be reinforcing many areas of it.

        Hello,

We are very sorry to see you experienced difficulty assembling your shed. We recommend at least two people are required to assemble a shed of any size – at least one to position parts or panels, and one to handle fasteners and tools. Assembly time depends on a variety of factors, including roof design, tools available, DIY skill and the pace at which you work. Guidelines for each shed assembly are approximate AFTER completion of the base, and assume two or more people working on the assembly. Generally, you should plan on at least one day working with someone who can assist you. Once properly assembled and anchored our customers find their storage sheds to be very sturdy and last 15 years +. We are also available for assembly support 7 days a week at 1-800-851-1085 (press 1).

This shed is an absolute piece of trash. I would never recommend anyone purchase one of these. Materials are subpar. Panels are super thin. Installation is much more difficult than presented. We ended up tearing it down half way through and throwing it away. Waste of nearly $ 2000.00

        Absolutely Junk
Bought this planning on hay storage. No where in the directions does it mention that you need 5 people to put together. Super flimsy. Couldn't get it to stand up on its own while putting together kept falling in bending. Had to have extra people hold walls up. Instrustions so horrible took 4 hours just to put trusses together. Do not buy this building. I'm in Oregon.

Thought this would be a quick easy way to get a shed upright and get my stuff moved. I had nothing but troubles with the install. Instructions started out easy and I was all for it then when I started putting up the side panels, I got to the third panel and the first two holes lined up then the rest of them did not. I measured again I was still square my lengths were correct but the holes were not. It needs better directions. I ran into the problem building the trusses. There was no clarification on how to install the beam supports. Looking at the picture I just went with what I saw and it was wrong. Then installing the end gables that was a chore. Not happy with installation. I am still building it so quality I can't say.

The steal could be much heavier. For the price it is a decent shed. I had to upgrade the hardware to self tapping screws. I am also putting 2 in foam on it to strengthen the sides and pop rivoting a steal stud along the top for strength. Do not build this shed if it is windy outside. Also the directions could be a little more clear. Also suggest using a 2 x 4 to support the corners as you try to get the building square. If you can afford a stick frame building.

nothing but difficult instructions, no matter how much you square, plumb and level it you are bound to find that the pre-drilled holes do not line up. for the time and money I spent I could have built one myself. I am also displeased that it is almost a foot short on both sides so in reality you're getting a 11' x 9' shed. I'm almost tempted to take it down and return it.

I would give it a no star. What a piece of you know what !!. Very thin sheet metal for frame and walls. If you get the 12x31 like I did you get 5 boxes for parts plus two boxes with roll up door. One box is for a 12x10 then each extra box is an add on. So you have to open every box and dig through each piece to fine the numbers your looking for, most not clearly marked. Then the frame is very week and wants to fall over so you have to support every wall joist or it will fall. Then comes the instructions? I hope you have a engineers degree because man o man. I am a pretty smart guy but man o man. The build instructions jump from page one to page four then back to page one and so on. Very poor . The picture illustration's are not any better. I called and was told to watch a video on the web site, The first 3 min was talking about the building, then its show a man and a women butting up a 10x10 and they only show exploded view and not in detail. It took me over 16 hrs. just to put up the floor and side walls. I took it all down in 2 hrs. I took it back, I would never buy and arrow product again.

            Arrow 12 ft X 10 ft shed
The shed is still going up. Due to winds and other commitments, this is taking time to finish. Compared to an older Arrow 12 X 17, the instructions for this 12 X 10 are not as good. I had difficulty getting the base and upper section "SQUARED." Finally figured it out, the roof panels are going on as of yesterday. Another difficulty was keeping the 95 inches for the door opening. I had to make two braces out of angle iron to maintain the distance. Won't be finished for a while.

Steel is misleading. This product is a flimsy aluminum type metal that will likely be destroyed in a hail storm. It was a nightmare to install outside int he wind. It shows to take approximately 6 hours in a video found online, but took 4 days with two men working full time and 4 additional men that each spent about 6 hours helping.
