I like this item but believe it should come standard on a new ladder.

Perfect tool for painting and working on the ladder.

Fits perfect, priced right and can't find any reason not to add it to my Ladder when needed..

Sturdy & easily folds. Home Depot didn't write them, but the included diagrams are surprisingly bad. Don't tighten anything until you verify correct operation.

Description of the pail shelf was ambiguous. I read “universal,” which implied to me that although it was designed for Werner ladders, it would work on other ladders other than the Werner brand. After I received it, I discovered otherwise. Fortunately, Home Depot accepted the return of the item, and I received a full refund.

Not as "universal" as I hoped for. Following install it is a little wonky.

This Paint Pail Shelf fits perfect and easy to install for my Werner Ladder. The reason for my purchase is to paint with a Roller Brush. This Paint Pail Shelf DOES NOT FIT any Roller Brush Trays. This will only be useful to hold Round Paint Cans.

This shelf fit perfectly on an 8’ step ladder that didn’t come with a shelf. Simple to install

I’m not sure what “universal” means for this product. I had to create a way to attach it to my ladder. Once I did that, it does hold a bucket and tools. Not recommended.

I was able to install the ladder pail shelf myself and was so happy to be able to get the shelf for my ladder.

Easy to install with a drill and bits. Hardware included. Constructed with good materials. Great as a tool shelf on your Werner step ladder. I installed on a 6 foot ladder.

super convenient... just recognize it is not a platform for standing... remember that, and all will be well...
