Works as described. Multiple floor height settings. Works great.

I tried this on short pile rug and bare hardwood floors and got very poor results and even had to clean the sweeper bristles by hand.. I plan to return it today. Thank goodness Home Depot stands behind the products sold.

This sweeper is light weight yet does the job. It is easy to maneuver and great for a quick, light sweeping. The brushes do not go all the way to the edges to edges are difficult to sweep (but that's not the typically use of this type of sweeper). No regrets buying it and would recommend it.

I was very excited to get this because I have a tiled kitchen floor and hardwood foyer floor. I used the sweeper on both surfaces multiple times. It doesn't work. It just kicks dirt and dust around. I checked the debris bin to see what I picked up, and found nothing. I also tried it on my little mats that I put in front of the stove and sink and was not impressed there either. I'm going to return it.

Deciding to try going one day without electricity, we quickly discovered that the only carpet cweeper we had was an electric vacuum. Researching established companies, we came across the well known British name of Ewbank. Being in the business since the early 1900s impressed me feeling that after 100 years they may know how to make a manual sweeper properly. I was correct. With 4 height settings and a single lever disposing system, this sweeper is not only well made but also user friendly. Emptying the sweeper keeps your hands well away from any debris captured by the superior quality mechanism. Since this purchase, we have net once used our electric vacuum - it does that good of a job. Far superior in construction to any of the other knockoffs. Worth every penny. We do not have pets but small hiars and wool carpet fuzz comes up in a jiffy.
