3 person Carbon Sauna
Although I do recommend this product it is because of the 10% off and the 6 months interest free. I am assembling it now. I just got the floor, sides, and top in place. The instruction manual is very blurry and lacks good clear pictures. I can overcome that better than most people as I am very handy. A few non key parts had some boards pulled away and staples showing. I pulled the bent staples and glued the wood slats on the back rests. Very small task, yet necessary if you choose to use the back rests. The sides are fairly easy to assemble if you go in order. They have latches and slide catches on the door/front assembly. Now comes the issue. The wood used for the benches, the part that you sit on when you use the sauna, is not very strong. I weigh about 245 and I just sat in it after I got the frame, sides, and top in place. I could hear the wood creak-then begin to crack. I know how to make a small addition to brace it so it won't break. My advice to anyone over 200 pounds is to put an additional piece -like 3/4 to 1 inch wood to insure that the bench doesn't break through. You are probably wondering why I don't return it. RIGHT? well, like I said, with the discounts it is a good deal. I think 3 people in there would be very tight unless they are 3 very small framed people. For my wife and myself, it will work fine. I have it in the perfect position, oh...I had to change one outlet. Although it runs off 110, you need a different outlet to accept the plug. So, the uncrating, unpacking all the small parts-the radio, cup holders, air freshener, towel rack... and carting it to the room I want it in took 2-3 hours. After all the time invested, I don't want to pack it up to return it. OVERALL...I like it and we will enjoy it. It just could be built a little bit stronger in the bench and floor area that should be able to support 3 people @ 170 lbs so over 500 pounds will make it creak and If you bounce on the seats it will probably crack one or both benches. If you take care of it and don't expose it to overweight situation...it is worth the money.
