This is my 2nd hot dawg, first one was installed on 2003 and is still working flawlessly. This one replaced a beacon morris and what an improvement. Both units start up nicely and distribute heat quickly and evenly.

It’s probably more heater than I needed but heats up my garage in about 5-7 minutes and maintains and even steady heat and has to cycle not to often. I had a bit of a time figuring out the line voltage thermostat because I had to put a jumper wire in the control board of the heater to make the heater work and cycle thru the different stages of operation but once I figured that out, I works beautifully!

This heater will put out the heat! Heats a 1000 square foot uninsulated shop with no problem. Great heater and I would recommend it highly!

My advice: Don't purchase any Modine heater because there is NO customer service or warranty service. I purchase the 125,000 Btu heater for our barn. I installed the heater and I had a local HVAC contractor set the heater up and first start. The contractor found that the Honeywell gas valve was not working correctly. I looked on Modine's web site for a number and I was given my local representive's number which is in Columbus Ohio and I'm near Cleveland. So I called, Carl answered the phone. He was no help and committed to nothing. He didn't know what to do and he was absolutely no help. My local HVAC contractor has tried to contact Modine for assistance and they will NOT warranty the gas valve.

Love it. Easy to install does a great job.

This unit is heating a 24'x30 ' garage with little insulation . It warms up quickly and is quieter running than I thought it would be. I do intend to insulate for winter temps below freezing to reduce run time. Works great when installed per O.E.M. installation instructions. Make sure your installer does it per O.E.M. INSTRUCTIONS.
