The light has very nice strait lines I would almost say that it has an Asian quality. It is well crafted and very easy to install. It has a medium base socket in which I am using an LED light to illuminate it. I am very pleased with the illuminated look of the light that it gives off.

I had these lights installed on my front porch. They look great.

The lights have this great opaque glass that helps keep light pollution from bothering neighbors and ourselves, but still illuminations the area around it very well.

Looks great on our refinished front porch. It had a strange hum at first but has stopped.

Easy to install, sturdy, good looking and gives off a very diffused light, so you can use a high-wattage bulb and get lots of light without glare.

Had to return, seemed to be made well, I only had 6” from the wall to where my screen door opens. asked online, the “online community” answered with the specs from the box....which are the size of the lantern part only!!! not the total depth. it extends 7.5” from the wall.

This Thomas Mission lantern was a breeze to install-- I especially appreciated the collapsible metal hanger included on the back of the base, which allowed me to temporarily hang the light in position while I made all the wire connections. The overall fit and finish of the metal (not plastic--Yay!) lantern is quite good, and provides a classy appearance to front-door guests. And a lit 100-watt bulb gives off a nice warm glow through the lightly textured glass. I'd highly recommend this lantern!

Last year, I built a deck off my back door. I replaced a flood light fixture with an inexpensive lantern. This new Mission wall mount is a vast improvement. It looks very nice. Installation was easy, especially since the manufacturer included an 'exclusive' "Easy Mounter"--a small hook that holds the lantern in place while you connect the wiring--very smart and handy for those of us who have left a lantern 'hanging' by connected wires, just hoping it doesn't disconnect, fall, and break. I'm very pleased with the new lantern.
