Both the jacket and vest are of good quality but very little thought was given to combining the two. There is only one small loop behind the neck that attaches the vest to the jacket. Try to put in the two together is like wrestling an octopus. They could have been designed much better. I find that I only use the vest as it's too awkward to try and wear both.

These are sized on the small side I usually wear a 2xl but even at 3xl the sleeves are on the small side with a sweatshirt on underneath. The length is good at 3xl but again the 2xl the sleeves are on the short side. The vest is great.

THE JACKET FITS EXTREMELY WELL, BUT THE SUPPLIED BATTERY ONLY LAST FOR 3 HRS ON HIGH. YOU CAN UPGRADE THE BATTERY TO THE M18 VOLT BUT THE DOWNSIDE OF THIS IS THAT THE SUPPLIED CHARGER ONLY DOES THE M12 BATTERY. YOU WILL HAVE TO BUY A DIFFERENT CHARGER FOR THE M18 BATTERY. I THINK MILWAUKEE SHOULD GIVE YOU A UNIVERSAL CHARGER WITH THE PRODUCT INSTEAD OF JUST THE M12 CHARGER. OVERALL I LIKE THE JACKET VERY MUCH AND IT DOES WORK!!!!!!!

PURCHASED FOR MY SON FOR CHRISTMAS GIFT..HE LOVES IT. THE BATTERY LIFE IS JUST AS DESCRIBED..IT'S COMFORTABLE AND WARM.

Fits well, and so warm. Even just the outer jacket by itself is great. I tested everything together, but it hasn't really been cold enough to justify the heating vest yet. My wife found it toasty! USB charger is a great feature since my phone battery is on its last leg. The only thing I would change is an issue with a lot of jackets I find. The lining of the arms is loose. When I slip the jacket on, I end up with about 3/4" of lining scrolled out around my wrist. It just bugs me. I end up reaching up by my arm pit and pulling the extra liner back up my arm. I wish the liner was somehow quilted to the sleeve or just more stiff. My guess is that most people wouldn't even notice. There are lots of pull string adjustments on the outer jacket and hood. It is easy to make it fit if you don't like the baggy feel/look. Possesses a plethora of pockets!

The Milwaukee 3-in-1 camo jacket is definitely the top of the line when it comes to heated jackets. Having a removable vest that contains the heating elements is a huge plus. It gives you the option of wearing the vest with other coats, by itself or even wearing it underneath another layer with this jacket. In extreme cold conditions, you could easily wear a midweight, somewhat fitted sweatshirt over the vest and still fit it under this jacket, trapping even more heat near your skin (you would need to set the heat level ahead of time though, as accessing the inside of vest would be nearly impossible). I’ve worn regular all-in-one Milwaukee heated jackets before and the downside was that the more layers you wore underneath the jacket, the less noticeable the heat was – this gives you the option of overcoming that issue when need be. This jacket has two heat zones - chest/back and pockets and three heat settings – low, medium and high. You can expect about 2 hours of heat with both zones on high. The battery pack could stand to be a little smaller, but despite it’s size, they’ve done a good job of locating it in the position where it’s least likely to be bothersome. I also appreciate the functionality of being able to charge a USB device off the battery pack & it has an indicator light that shows you how much charge you have left on the battery. Other pros – this jacket comes with a warm, removable hood. Both the jacket and the hood have bungee cords to provide a tighter fit and keep wind out when needed. The inside of the jacket is fleece lined and very soft, as is the vest. The chest pocket on the outer shell is handy, as are the front pockets on the vest. NOTE: There are two pockets on the side of the jacket which are really just slits that allow you to pass your hands through to the heated pockets of the vest. There are also two nearly-hidden pockets in front of those slits that are actual pockets you can use when wearing the outer layer only. I’d worn the coat 2 or 3 times before I noticed those pockets & 1. Felt a little foolish & 2. Was very relieved that there was in fact functional pockets on the outer shell – it makes wearing the items separately much more practical. As for sizing, this coat runs true to size. The outer material of this jacket is great – it’s soft, quiet, waterproof & in general, just feels like it’s high quality. The only way I think this jacket could be improved is if allowed you to zip the vest into the jacket. I was expecting the vest to have the option of zipping into the shell, like the lining of a ski jacket does, but it does not. Since the control for the heating elements is on the inside of the vest, allowing it to zip into the shell would let you access the control by simply unzipping the jacket and not having to then unzip the vest as well. Since the vest already zips, adding this feature would be as simple as adding a second interior zipper to the jacket, so hopefully that’s something they’ll consider in the future. Overall though, it doesn’t get much better than this heated jacket. It’s warm, it’s comfortable and being a 3-in-1, it’s very versatile. If you’re in the market for a new hunting jacket, I definitely recommend this one – you won’t be disappointed!

Being an out-doors person on Maine is not always easy. This jacket system make below freezing treks into the wild a much more comfortable event. My wife liked it so much she borrowed it for Black Friday shopping. And then she went and bought her own heated hoodie. I would highly recommend this product for anyone who spends time in cold areas.
