Bought this to cut holes for recessed lights on a plaster with wood strip ceiling without wire mesh. After 2 holes, the blade was already dull!

Very durable, long lasting hole saw. I have owned many sizes of this brand over the years. No need to look any further. The price is great for the excellent quality.

I bought this hole saw to cut a hole in a piece of 1/4" mild steel. Milwaukee says it works on "thin/think metals" and the packaging showed a hole in an ibeam so i figured it would handle the task. i was able to (barely) get one hole done and it barely removed the paint on the second piece.

Cut 1 hole in drywall and the teeth have already rounded off. Wouldn’t even start the second hole. This bit is junk.

Great when drilling out new locksets. Deep depth and a fast quick connect.

I love these saw blades. Cuts through wood so fast and are easy to use and hook up.

Works great easy clean out and I use daily I like the Dozer better than my other go to because they hold up longer. Next up will be the pa kout set with the case I like easy.

I use the hole saw to cut holes into the firewall on custom cars and trucks. Works great! And they last allot longer.

I am a plumber who needs holes fast, time is money. Product came fast, Looked great, and preformed even better. I put the dozer to work right away on some 10 gauge sheet metal and it made quick work of it. Love them!!

These are great. Of course Milwaukee products always are. They cut through fast and clean.

Used the 4” and 3” hole saws to cut through OSB boards to insert pipe conduits through. Boards included a thin layer of grout and Gypsum board totaling a thickness of 1.25 inches approximate. Haven’t t used the smallest one but i imagine it works the same. The east of installing the various sizes on an instant was great. Saw cooled off quickly. The teeth are sharp and had a clean cut

Ripped right through pine and sheets of OSB. Made pitting the holes in super easy cutting down on bathroom remodel time. Perfect size cutters.

Milwaukee everything! If it's not red, white and black then I won't buy it!

The holesaw from milwaukee is a game changer. I do a lot of different holes from 2" to 4" and never had a moment where the teeth went dull out of many uses. Great product and delivers more cuts than the competition.

I'm a carpenter that dose residential remodeling on a daily basis and have used a variety of different tools and brands and nothing preforms better or last longer then Milwaukee....won't buy anything else!

Great cutting edge, easy to use arbor. Made a clean hole through the wood siding and sheathing. I haven't used it on metal yet, but I expect great results.

One hole in Hardie backer 500 and it was of no use anymore and that was using water to cool saw down while drilling

Purchased the 1 1/8 hole saw from Hamilton HD went to use it and noticed the poor welding and out of round. What a poor representation of the quality control at Milwaukee. Going to return it and buy a Lennox.

What a joke. 50$ for a product that advertises “arbor included” but that arbor doesn’t have the locking nut you need to actually use it. You need to buy that separately but no where does it tell you that. Works great once you get all the pieces you need to actually use it.

I spent several minutes trying to figure out what all was included with this. There was NOTHING in the description other than assembly, how to use, etc... So, I went to "Product Images" seeking a clue. I saw the one included with this review, which CLEARLY shows everything you need to assemble and use the hole saw. But, when I picked it up, it is JUST the hole saw. VERY disappointing. Description should have made it clear this is just the saw and unusable as is.

Before buying the 16 pc set, I reviewed the types of material these bits could cut through. I saw sheet metal listed and bought the set. If by ‘cuts through’ we mean scrapes, then it did the trick. In short, I’m sure these are great for wood but if you’re looking to cut through thincresibly thin sheet metal then I would look elsewhere.

This is our second one, we needed a smaller size for some other projects. It's only been used on wood a few times but feels rather strong and sturdy like it will last us a long time. We absolutely love the holes on the side that make it very easy to remove the plug that may get a little stuck sometimes. Overall we love this brand and their products, this being one of them.

No complaints here, so far it's been good. We've only used it a handful of times but it seems pretty strong and sturdy like it will last rather long. It's easy to use through various types of wood, making it's way through a few nails at didn't see before starting. It's a very nice touch to have so many holes on the sides to help you be able to remove the plug easily.

I do home remodel. So I use holesaw‘s quite a bit for different applications for wood or metal. For appliance installations I use them a lot. I rarely use these bits for metal. But they have worked out for me on thin metal applications. When I run lines for dishwashers when I have to drill into peoples cabinets they want a very clean looking hole. Especially if they are new. This whole saw did a good clean hole and has done several for me already. It has stayed sharp but I am careful not to try and ruin it. I actually own the entire set already. Because Milwaukee in my opinion makes pretty good hole saws. They are worth the money. I’ve put a lot of them through their paces. And this 1 5/8 is no. I did bump into some finish nails and I cut right through them. All the teeth stayed. I believe they are made of carbide so I know this things gonna last. My favorite thing about it is it doesn’t get stuck to the adapter that goes to the drill. Milwaukee thought that out good and I like the holes so it can lock on the bit. For me it’s a must have on the job.

I have not used this for a 'real' project yet but tested it in the type materials I expect to drill with it, concrete board and wood. First the quality. Carbide teeth are sharp and nicely welded to the metal sheet. The hole saw appears to be made from what I would call something like bandsaw stock that is cut to length rolled and welded. The weld is barely visible, and teeth are evenly spaced. When drilling cement board, the hole saw cut clean and very quickly. Wood (dry oak) was a little more challenging because there is very little set the teeth which required pulling the HS back from the cut frequently to clear saw debris. By doing this, I was able to cut a clean hole without burning the wood. I don't think you can go wrong with these hole saws from Milwaukee.
