Decided to do a review for this since we were rating something else and have had this can opener for several years now and still as good as the day we bought it.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I love that this can opener has a nice soft grip, is easy to use, opens from the top and opens cans well in general. They also come in fun colours and I got the turquoise one. I have used it for 4 years now and have had no issues with it. It's also easy to clean!

My SECOND "Mightican can opener since 2018 just stopped working! Somehow I misplaced my order info for my second one but I have all the info from the first one. Apparently they only work for about three years!!! I really like the can opener when it works, but I refuse to continue to by a product that has such a short life expectancy.

First, let me start by saying the build quality and ease of use are great. However as others have pointed out it leaves an extremely sharp edge on the can. We have had the opener for a couple of weeks now and even with me being aware of the sharp edge I managed to cut my finger bad enough that it required medical care. I also have concerns about putting the cans in the recycling and having someone else injuring themselves as well. We will not be using this opener anymore. Will find a suitable replacement from Starfrit.

Works well and is a very durable opener it’s the only one I own in my kitchen

I love this can opener! Funny to say about a can opener...but, if you have ever had your can opener get stuck etc, you will love this one. Easy to twist and very smooth action. Doesn't get stuck or chew up the can.

My husband Picked up your CanOpener today and brought home the most useless CanOpener I have ever seen. This CanOpener removes the lid however it leaves the top of the can sharp as a lethal weapon.

This can opener opens the can at a different place, creates a mess, and leaves a dangerous edge. I only write this review because I just sliced my finger while throwing away an empty can that I barely touched en route to the garbage and now I have a bleeding mess because of a stupid can opener. Get old school openers that open the can on top, rather than on the side. That way you have a safe edge, AND you can plunk the lid into the can for disposal - something you can't do with this can.

Super easy to use, quick, quiet, comfortable grip, perfect open every time, chic design. Definitely worth it for the price.

Not only is this can opener awkward to hold when using, it leaves the edges of the cans so sharp that they are a serious hazard. I have twice badly cut myself on an opened can. I have thrown this can opener away.

this was a gift from my daughter a year ago and i have never had a better can opener in my life (55) it is excellent!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Got this can opener when stocking up on kitchen supplies when I first moved. It works great and is actually comfortable to use unlike so many other kinds of can openers.

I was very happy with our first Starfrit can opener, where neither the lid nor the can were left with sharp edges. Though this replacement has no sharp edges on the lid,it does leave a SHARP edge on the can! I am Not at all happy about that. The opener itself works just fine.

This is the best can opener on the market - I have tried soooo many other brands and this is the best. I bought for myself and many family members.

Cuts off top leaving sharp edge on can, my wife actually cut herself the first time she used it so be careful. Does a good job if you don't want to use the can for other purposes. That said, she's a lefty and really likes using it. It's bidirectional so anyone can use it and it's easy. Definitely recommend getting it - but keep a regular one around just in case you need that can again...
