It was delivered as promised and set up was easy.

Extension did not line up...had to enlongate holes!!! Was not a happy camper

Extention gives you so much extra room. Also makes it so you can turn full legs for stools, tables or half bed posts.

The extension is very well made .

Item was easy to install and allows me to turn longer items. It required a little adjustment, but works really well.

Easy to connect to my lathe. It fit just like it should. It made my lathe a lot handier.

Fit was not perfect. Still some residence with tail stock sliding smoothly across the joint, but acceptable.

Lath bed extension would not mate with the lathe as shipped. The holes in the extension were too small for the connector bolts. I had to drill out the existing cast iron holes so that the bolts would fit and I could connect the extension with the lathe. The only tool that I had to tighten the bolts was an end wrench. A socket would not fit.

Rough surface finish, Delta could afford to present a similar finish as on the laid itself where the Quill end runs much smoother. Nevertheless it was a breeze to install and I love added capacity.

First of all, I was impressed with the Home Depot delivery service - the bed extension arrived two days after I ordered it! The instructions for attaching it to my lathe were clear and easy to follow. Not a bad price for being able to double the length of the projects I can work on. Highly recommended, great experience.

Installation was easy. Made hardwood support for extension. Anxious to try turning a baseball bat.

Works as expected. High quality product. Should outlast me.
