Would give it a five but it wobbles a little on carpet. Currently renting so can't bolt into the wall.

Easily assembled with a power screwdriver. Even better quality than anticipated. Well worth the expense. They ( I bought 2) fit the decor quite well, especially the contrast of the newly refinished flooring

I was looking for an affordable solution to build a library that didn't break the bank or have the cheapness of Ikea lightweight pine bookcases. I ordered 4 of these 72" and 4 of the 48" tall bookcases to run the length of a 20'+ wall in basement. These were easy to put together. The only downside was that the 72" bookcases were each missing 2 cam locks and 2 metal fasteners to complete them so I had to borrow from 48" bookcase hardware which could be completed without them and still be sturdy. The last 72" bookcase was missing hardware altogether. The UPSIDE is that I called the manufacturer who makes and ships this product for Home Depot. Their number is in the instructions. I called them on Monday noon after they opened on West Coast and they shipped the missing hardware plus extra cam locks and metal fasteners via Priority Mail and I had the hardware to complete the bookshelves by Thursday. They are on West Coast and I am on East Coat. They were very friendly and helpful. A lot of people complain about the styrofoam debris. I was able to vacuum all of this off after completing the shelves. Trying to wipe it off is a waste of time with static. The shelves are pretty solid. The backing could be a little sturdier and some portions probably need some finishing with wood finish. For my purposes, I don't really need them finished.

This book shelf was well packaged and easy to put together. It looks great in our office. We ended up buying one more of these before we were done.

Parts of this bookcase are made out of actual wood. It is very sturdy and was easy to assemble.

We have had the book case for a few weeks. I expected the shelves to be wood but they are composite. They appear to be strong enough but time will tell if they sag. We have many heavy photo albums so the weight allotment was very important to us. That is why I wanted real wood and not composite. It was fairly easy to put together but it really does take two to handle it properly.

Pretty easy to assemble and looks good. My biggest problem was getting all the styrofoam cleaned off the shelf.

Misleading use of the word “wood”. The look is wood but the product is totally particleboard. I was expecting the product to be what was advertised. It was not.

Overall, this is a fairly nice book shelf. However, I have two concerns that the manufacturer should improve upon. One is that both the top and bottom aprons are supposed to be screwed in. Even following directions and screwing in tightly, these two pieces are still wobbly. The other is that the styrofoam packing material needs to be improved or replaced. It does the job, but it sheds into tiny little pieces that get stuck in the bookshelf materials. I had to spend a good 30 minutes picking and brushing these pieces off. Use better packing material, or I won't buy from this manufacturer again.

I was impressed with the sturdiness of the shelving support. The thicker backboard gives this bookshelf it's sturdiness along with the extra front boards along the sides, top and bottom.

The product itself is great, however, the distance between shelves is short of what I need. My binders are tight and some just can't stand. I will make due and still say it is a great product and recommend it highly. Just be aware of the distance between the shelves.

I was disappointed that the shelving was only 10 inches deep. Most book cases have a 12 inch shelf. But the bookshelf is sturdy and heavy. Also easy to assemble.

Solid engineering makes a sturdy book shelf that can handle heavy books. Twist locks enable disassembly and reassembly thru narrow doorways. I have used them for many years and they have never failed. The OEM will allow you to order additional shelves and brass pins. Form and fit tolerance is excellent and well thought out.

Confusing instructions. Impossible to get it squared up.

I ordered four bookcases in the Dry Oak color for my home office in our newly built home. They were easy to put together. The instructions were clear, precise, and easy to follow. All pieces were included, none were missing. They were delivered to my home on time and in perfect condition, no damage. I love these bookcases. I needed bookcases that would hold heavy books and these certainly do that. They are exactly what I was looking for and are very pretty. I have them side by side and they fit nicely together with only the slightest gap between each set.

Easy to assemble; I did it myself! It looks great & gives me the additional storage for books that I needed. ONLY con: the back came folded, as other reviews stated, and it is visible if something tall is not in front of the 2 folds. That doesn’t bother me too much because the price was quite reasonable.

It is pricey for a solid oak bookcase with solid oak moldings and particle boards with oak veneer. I got bad luck with mine because the pre-drilled for the back support does not align precisely with the fixed shelf which made the screw damage / shear off the edge of the shelf so I had to use carpenter glue to fix it. However, the bookcase look sturdy and elegant.

I just got done putting this together. First, it is NOT 30" wide; it is 30 5/8. I bought this because I only had a hair over 30 inches available. This cause me some grief and forced me to rearrange some furniture & plumbing. Through no fault of the manufacturer, a bag of parts was ripped open and most of the shelf hardware was missing. A quick phone call to the number in the manual solved that (they were very nice) and I hope to get the parts in a few days. The instructions were adequate, but could be a bit better. The quality matches what I expected for the price...no major surprises there. In fact, I thought it was better quality than I expected. As others have said, the specks of styrofoam were a pain to remove. A vacuum did not work; I had to scrub them off. I recommend a sponge with a white or blue scrubber backing; do not use a green scrubber, it will scratch. Overall, I am happy.

The book shelf is good quality, looks great, and was straight forward to assemble. Two reasons it did not get 5 stars; 1 - The hardware did not ship with it (had to call). 2 - The shelves were protected with styrofoam but not wrapped, so it was a cleaning challenge to get all the little pieces off.
