We were in need of some tiles for an outside area and found these MEROLA TILES on the HOME DEPOT website - these MEROLA TILES were made in Spain and are very good looking - with bright colors and a very appeasing design - they do not have a glossy glaze, which provides a more subtle look - they are great for high traffic areas and are easy to clean - these MEROLA TILES seem to be a little smaller than normal tiles - these MEROLA TILES were very easy to lay and provide a very homey comforting look to our outdoor area - we are very pleased with the outcome

Gorgeous heavy ceramic tile! We actually ordered these tiles in order to make hot pads for our formica countertops. We'll add felt to the back after getting the proper adhesive. A test shows the size is perfect. I don't know if the pictures do the tile justice: one was placed next to a terra cotta planter for color reference. A 12' pizza pan fits better than anticipated. The reverse side of the tile is heavily textured so it shouldn't be easily scooted around the countertop - bonus stability! Two tiles will be used in the kitchen, with two more placed in our summer kitchen. Again, these are gorgeous!

Merola makes beautiful quality tiles with a European flavor of course because they are made in Spain, with lots of wonderful designs and colors to choose from.

Used this beautiful tile for a tiled counter top. Looks amazing.

I fell in love with this tile the moment I saw it. My installer said it was very easy to install (at first I thought the small decorative squares were separate tiles but they are a part of the individual 13 inch tiles and so putting them together is a no brainer. It took my installer 2 days to install the tile in my 144 sq ft sunroom which now looks like a Spanish courtyard! I chose a terra cotta paint for the walls (Valspar La Fonda which Sherwin Williams had no trouble replicating). Here is a photo of the finished sunroom.

We bought and installed these tiles last month. Super happy with the result! It looks beautiful in our bathroom. Regarding a few reviews pointing at a design defect in aligning the center medallions I can say it took us a while to find the correct tile arrangement, and initially we didn't think it would work, but it does! Just persist and you will find it! There is nothing wrong with the tile's design.

We put this in the laundry room of our 1937 home. It is so nice!!! We’re completely renovating the entire home and this might just be our favorite tile. It looks like Saltillo but much easier to install!

The pattern does NOT match up properly. We are going to return it. It’s a pity because the design would have been pretty.

See my review of Merola Manises Jet Mix - used the Manises Jet Blanco for my bathroom vanity and shower and the Jet Mix on the floor. The tile was exactly as shown. Each tile has three edges with a terra cotta glaze and one edge white glaze so you can cut pieces to use as bull nose. I also finished the exposed edges with grout and this came out looking much better than the popular metal edging that has replaced bull nose. There is no matching bullnose. The patterns on each tile vary on two sides so it is important to buy extra and take time to plan and cut to make the patterns align. Well worth it for an elegant, traditional Spanish look (tile are made in Spain after all). The tile upgraded an older dull bathroom into one with more color and style.

I purchased Merola Manises Jet Mix for the floor of my bathroom and used the Manises Blanco for the vanity top and shower. The tile is exactly as pictured and I was very happy with how it came out. The edges of the tile are finished in a terra-cotta glaze on three sides so no bull nose is needed. Good thing since, despite a thorough search, I was not able to find any bull nose even close to matching. I cut each 13" tile into four lengths to use as cove base around the floor and vanity. Metal edging just didn't match the traditional style of the tile. It is important to buy extra tile since the patterns vary on two sides. Takes a little extra planning and pieces. Overall the tile was better than expected and gave a quality look that makes it an excellent value.

The tile is fine but doesn't match an earlier lot. The medallion designs have been moved so that a different medallion is in the center, making it impossible to match on an existing floor. We needed one box to complete the project. It would have been good to have included the information.

These tiles will be used for a hearth under an antique Home Comfort Wood Burning Cook Stove. The colors harmonize with predominantly blue and white back splash tiles and will help blend the different aspects of the kitchen together.

Serious design flaw. Although this tile is good quality and nice finish, it is impossible to lay the tile so the small inset designs meet correctly. If you attempt to make the designs at the corners match, the insets at the middle edge will not match. If you lay the tile so the middle edge inset designs match, you will end up with corners that are half one design and half another, which does not look good. Because of this I had to return these tiles and would not recommend them.

These tiles are very good quality and finish and I was pleased with their look in general. However, there is a design flaw in the tiles, which cannot be overcome. When you lay the tiles next to each other, the small decorative squares at the corners do not match each other. You can match the design at the midpoints, but there is no way to place them and have the corner designs match. If you try to lay them to make all 4 points at the corner match, you end up with midpoint edge designs that don't match. This design flaw is a major problem and caused me to have to return the tiles.

My project is about 3/4 done but I have to tell you how incredible this tile looks. I will be posting pics in a few days....hang on! I had several naysayers after I chose this tile, but as soon as they saw it installed they went nuts over it. It is totally gorgeous and gives the room such an incredible feel/look. I am so pleased with this beautiful tile.

These tiles are just beautiful. I am very happy with Jet manises blanco and Jet Manises Mix, which is the same with an add on rust color. They just look georgous.
