After 2 to 3 weeks base unit lost connection with the remote unit.
Remote was just outside the room with the base unit.
Re-sync unit, 2 days later lost connection to remote unit (was in room next to base unit)
Tried different channel, put back outside.
Lost connection 2 hr's later, held base next to window & re-sync.
Next morning no outside reading again.
Off to e-waste with it.
Other issue is the display is quite hard to see.
Unless you get the light reflecting off it just right.
Some display elements are very small and hard to see.
I do not recommend this product.
