It is not surprising that this has been discontinued. The labeling is just painted on and easily wiped off - no fun cooking when you have to guess which burner you are turning on. Also the heat comes out the sides when I use my griddle or large pan and gets so hot that my hands get burned. The smaller burners do not put out much heat. The knobs are cheap plastic and two have melted! Wow, I replaced a 1964 cooktop with this in 2014, what a disappointment.

We bought this and installed it about a month ago. It's easy to clean and looks nice.

Compared to my old one, this new one has a big burner I have been longing for. Compact and efficient design for medium cooking.

I SWITCHED FROM ELECTRIC TO GAS AND I LOVE IT. THIS STOVETOP IS REALLY GREAT.

I love my cook top. The only thing I would change is making the flame go even lower. It is hard to leave something to simmer w/out it burning.

I really enjoy my new Maytag gas cooktop. The sealed burners are great when spills occur making it easy to clean and the simmer burner is very useful as is the high BTU burner.

The stainless steel is much easier to keep clean than the glass I had and even the grates are better since they do not discolor like my last cooktop grates did. I also enjoy the reliability of this unit.

This cook top is working very well for us, easy to use and the stainless cleans up very easily

Replaced an old Maytag cooktop and like the varied size burners -- from simmer to lots of heat for Chinese wok cooking. Disappointed the black racks can't go in the dishwasher for cleaning.

Do not purchase this stove unless you'd enjoy having your pots and pans wobble on the un-level grates while you cook. I purchased this stove in 2010 and thought perhaps I just got a bad set of grates. Nope. I acquired another set in 2014 and they STILL wobble. I can't believe that such a defect has not been fixed in 4 years.

Best cooktop so far I have had a few in the past and this one worksthe best.It's easy to clean also

I've wanted to covert from electric to gas for years and I finally did it. I had to have the cooktop converted to propane and it's been worth the expense and wait.

Blends beautifully with my new Maytag dishwasher and fridge. Works like a charm.

Installation by my husband was a breeze. The cooktop is a major improvement over the one we replaced.

Last summer renovated kitchen and installed this unit and I couldn't be happier

I like my cooktop stove. I have never cooked on a gas stove before. It cooks faster. I like the color black and I like the lighting feature. The grates come off for easy cleaning.

Very nice cooktop. Easy to clean and operate. Switched from electric to gas and we are glad we did. I like the feature of being able to change the orifice on each burner to get the preferred setup.

Needed to replace our cooktop when we re-did the kitchen. I did a lot of looking around. cost was an issue but I wanted to also get a nice unit. prices vary greatly in cooktops but I found this unit reasonably priced and it seems well built with solid continuous grates and a nice variety of burners for low heat and high heat needs. i have only used it for about one month but i am very happy with the Quality & the price of this 4 burner cooktop.

We are loving our first gas stove. We find it easy to keep clean, it lights quickly and its simple functional design works well in our new kitchen. The one downside is that if we have two large pots on the right hand side it is a very tight fit-just needs about another 1/2" of space so that they are not bumping each other off the centre.
