[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned this cooktop for 7 years and it has been very reliable and cleans up very easily. The number of years of use, reliability and ease of use combined with the low cost of the product is awesome, I would buy it again!

We love this Electric Cooktop. The drip pans are easy to remove and clean. It is efficient and heats up quickly, no waiting. It looks very nice as well.

The elements get super hot super fast. Well built and very nice style. Unable to lift up and clean underneath. The trays underneath the burners are very thin aluminum and would have been nicer if thicker material of stainless steel.

The finish on the cooktop is horrid to clean. It streaks and always looks dirty. I have tried all the suggested uses to clean but none work for me. I am going to replace the stovetop, I am tired of spending so much time rubbing the streaks out.

Easy to install and operate. The knobs turn all the way around i.e. you can go from high to off without going backwards - convenient!

My Maytag cook top is easy to clean as food wipes off easily. I can cook my whole meal at one time and foods that are finished cooking stay warm on low heat. The smooth surface and black color are attractive and blend into my kitchen seamlessly.

We needed a BASIC 4-top cooktop, and this one is PERFECT for the job!

We had a Maytag cooktop for several years and when it was time to replace it was no problem having another Maytag. This one is designed very much like our previous one, I like it that it that the knobs are lined up one the side and easier to clean. I don't like it that there are no numbers on the knobs so now I have to guess with the cooking. Maytag did not have any with numbers so I replaced the knobs with a universal knob and now I am satisfied.

The range is of good Quality and works great plus it adds color to my kitchen.

Bought as a replacement for an original 1975 harvest gold cooktop. Perfect upgrade for little investment. Could have gone with one of those expensive flat cooktops but given the age of the home I didn't want to chance having to get an electrician in to re-wire things to allow for such an upgrade. This was an easy upgrade!

If you live in a trailer or an older home and are replacing your cooktop first thing about amps and your current wiring. I have found if you add a fancy smooth top electric cooktop you'll likely have to upgrade the breaker. So if you are replacing a cooktop in the said above types of home this is your simpliest and most economical. Plus, it is three wires to hook it up and a couple of screws to tighten to hokup as it comes with cord attached already, it is really quite simple to wire into the little box you have under the counter. Just watch how you unwire the old one. TURN OFF POWER all power and turn a burner on before unhooking your old one MAKE SURE ALL POWER IS OUT OF THE LINES THIS IS 220 VOLTS!. Even though it is 220 as long as you turn off the power and use a flash light and tighten everything up, this very much do it yourself. DONT TURN THE POWER BACK ON UNTIL YOU ARE DONE! THis particular model is basic simple and serves the purpose well. I recently replaced 2 rental homes with these and with matching black refrigerators and dishwashers (all basic models but matching) and also found for a great price at the home depot, both kitchens allthough 15 years old look FABULOUS! Stainless steel collects fingerprints and I find the black to really be the most attractive!

We had a bit of difficulty with the installation. The cooktop didn't sit perfectly flat on the countertop. Had to do a little shimming. Once installed, the unit looks great and performs very well. Nice replacement for a very old model in aqua that was still working fine. If you don't want to move up to a smooth cooktop, this is an excellent choice.

Didn't want to spend big $$ to replace a failed cooktop, so went with this one. It went in easy, looks good, the pans fit well. It's a plus having the contols all on one side because it frees up space. If you want an inexpensive yet nice looking and solid electric cooktop, this one works!
